My mom and I drove all the way to Hendersonville to the pain clinic today hopeful and expecting answers. When we got there, we were told my appointment was canceled. Without warning. And we never got a reason for the cancellation. Just that the doctor refused to see me. So I continue to live in agony. DO NOT trust this place. It's full of doctors who were never meant to be doctors.”

“I have a terrible genetic small fiber neuropathy. The symptoms are adult onset and manifested in my late 40s. The condition was diagnosed at John Hopkins University Hospital in Maryland via a genetic test. It is one of the extreme pain syndromes. That's actually what it's classified as. Dr Lewis lacked all compassion. He clearly enjoyed his power over my quality of life and lording my medication over me. He gave me so little that I was still rolling around in my bed at an eight - nine on the 10-point scale day after day until I finally told my family that I was going to give it 3 months and that if I didn't get some relief, I would kill myself. I had no choice. Life was a living hell. In that 3-month time, however, I discovered Kratom and it saved my life. The green Malay strain worked better than opiates and had no psychoactive effect. The vendor is important and I use Club 13 online . There is a great variety in quality with kratom, some will not even be effective, so stick with a vendor that has been suggested. But I digress. The PA at Pardee, was even worse. A brown haired girl whose lack of compassion was far worse than the Physician's, she once said to me, "Let me guess, when you want medication you feel pain." I wish I could remember her name. The genetic neuropathy that I have results in burning all over my body, as if I am on fire. The medical research describes this condition and what is describes is exactly what I demonstrate in symptoms. Although it is rare, there is ample documentation in the medical literature. No "care" and an inadequate quantity and dosage of medication is what I got at Pardee pain management. I switched to Premier Pain in Asheville North Carolina and found not only compassion but a willingness to understand my condition and treat it appropriately. I found compassion and professionalism at Premier Pain, particularly with Ken Barrow, PA. I cannot say enough good about Premier Pain and I cannot say enough ill about pardee pain management. Save yourself a lot of pain and do not go to Pardee Hospital pain management in Hendersonville.”
