They showed empathy for my pain and are helping to improve my quality of life and ability to function and do my job at work. As well as, being able to focus on learning in my college classes instead of my mind constantly being on the pain. I think I need to change my treatment plan but I feel confident I will be heard. I have anxiety about going to the doctor but I felt at ease. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I've only experienced my first visit, but I look forward to seeing them on a regular basis to work out a plan that better controls my pain. “Pain Treatment Center of Georgia in Hinesville provided me with excellent information and advice regarding some of the medications that I'm currently taking. I was seen by the Nurse Practitioner -C (Brittney Ellis). She was knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough when talking about my health issues. She explained the advantage of having a spine stimulator implanted in my back in order to alleviate alot of the chronic pain that I'm encountering. She called Dr. Petro out of concern before writing a script for my meds. She expeditiously sent my script to VA for processing.within an hour or two. She along with her office coworker reminded me of documents I needed for my next appt and they actually scheduled the appt for me. They were both patient with as I searched frantically for paperwork/notes I thought could be used to explain my chronic cervical and spinal pain. (The two of them worked well together..... they complimented one another.) I was very comfortable with them. Overall, the appointment wasn't hard to get. The building and office space was clean, welcoming and comfortable. Everyone I encountered seemed to know their roll in the office and they carried out their duties and responsibilities with pride and a smile. The parking lot was roomy and the check in area was spacious. I highly recommend PTC for anyone experiencing chronic pain or pain they don't know how to deal with. They are the real deal!
