“We've been going to this clinic for 3 years. Recently they changed staffing around and increased patient load substantially to an unsafe level where they are just shoving people in and out. My mom went to Pain Stop Clinic to get lidocaine injections for back pain. The N.P. assigned to give her injections that particular day used too big of a needle WITH MY MOTHER TELLING HER IT WAS TOO BIG. My mom is a nurse and been in the medical field for over 30 years, she knows what she's talking about. The NP ignored her comment and gave her the injection with the inch long needle anyway. Within an hour of my mom being home, she knew something was not right and went to urgent care right away. At urgent care she was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance because the NP punctured her lung and it was now deflated. She spent three days in the hospital with a chest tube. After further investigation of this NP in the Pain Stop Clinic, turns out she's a pediatric nurse! We have reported them to the BBB and the Board of Nursing. No other patients need to be hurt from this pathetic practice. This clinic should be out of business and shut down immediately.”
