Patient Testimonials

My providers have always been great, the reception desk is very unprofessional, condescending and rude. They talk about you and down to you. After months of mistreatment by the receptionist, I finally inquired as to why she had such an issue and I was then dismissed from their clinic as they sided with their staff and not their patients. I had been coming to their clinic for 9 years, drive over an hour to get there and to be treated as such and dismissed like I don't even matter by a provider is sad and unprofessional. The receptionist attempted to fight me because her attitude was uncalled for and was redirected by another staff member. I hope they do better in the future.

My provider (Mary K.) always asks how I'm doing all-around, in addition to prescribing medication. She really listens to me. The clinical RN coordinator, Kathryn, is quick to assist with working with my insurance company when pre-authorizations are needed. The front staff who check people in and schedule appointments are great, as well. I always know what to expect when I go there, which is nice. I'm updating this as of Dec/2022; still a very helpful place to come to.

Today was my first appointment. This is the first place I've gone to for pain help and I felt like someone cared. They listen to you, and never rush. They cover all the basics if you receive medications from them. They test and do pill counts. They seem very intelligent and worry about the comfort of the patient, not just worry about their license. I've been in extreme pain for a while now and I actually finally feel hopeful for my future, knowing I have someone that has my back. If you've been to other pain management doctor's you probably know how they treat people who need opiates to manage pain, (You almost feel like a criminal for asking for help) but not here. I've never had someone genuinely care about how chronic pain effected my life. I highly recommend them. They also have physical therapy at their office and I'm excited to start there soon.

Update: I had been with the clinic for years. I had seen all the staff and felt I could be open and honest with just about anyone in the clinic. But one day out of the blue I got a phone call stating I was being dismissed because after going through the past YEAR of my records, I had been constantly testing at ZERO meds in my system and that I was being discharge just like that. Going off high doses of pain meds cold turkey can even land a person with certain other conditions in the hospital and can last up to two weeks or more. I was given 7 days of meds. The worst of it usually starts at day 7. My husband dropped off a current test from my primary taken not even two hours after i left from my last appt at the clinic and that test reflected that I had all the appropriate meds in my system and none I wasn't supposed to have. Just like the review before mine, I was dismissed with no meds to wean down and I was told THROUGH MY HUSBAND that they also said I was not following up with other providers as I was told. I never gave them permission to talk to him. They had permission to release a receipt and later my medical records. Those are supposed to come in a sealed envelope. So I guess when I run out of meds, I'm supposed to just be sick. They did give me a number of meds that helped not much and meds I was allergic to along with meds I am already prescribed and meds I can't take due to other interactions: it's sad that I thought I was being responsible and had NOT broken my pain agreement. They could have just told me I had a month to find another provider. But I got a phone call as I was pulling into work and was just told. Only one business day before my next appointment. So I guess stay on their good side and you are good to go, but they just decide things and things that were just not ethical all around. If I had been testing negative for ONE YEAR, I should have been made aware, then given a warning that I would be discharged. Plus they have a drug screen my doctor did and it was completely opposite. I couldn't just have taken my meds in that hour and a half then tested positive for all my meds I was supposed to be on and this is just too bad. I won't be able to work now until I'm done being sick from withdrawal because you can't just stop meds of this kind. What they prescribe to sort of help doesn't even come close to even helping a little. So no work. Plus I was given meds I can't take due to allergies and I had to hear from my husband something completely false and they were never given permission to tell him anything. He was just allowed to pick up papers twice. That does not give an assumed permission. So good luck, I wish you well and thank you for putting me through this. UNETHICAL and very opposite of their description of care. This wasn't compassionate or ongoing because if they saw a problem one year ago, why dismiss patients on no notice? I think they need to change that. And note that only my review and the one below are from dates with the current owners and staff. The rest are with totally different providers and office managers.
