Overprescribing their patients getting them hooked on opioids so that their tolerance increases constantly, not doing any due diligence to make sure their patients aren't getting hooked. Thank you pain associates for ruining our family! My husband is now on upwards of 10 a day, lying, hiding, taking it with alcohol....I would be appalled with myself if this was my profession. You give him a prescription for 90 pills in a month and in 3 days has gone through 40. That's how your "medicine" is being used. Legal drug dealers”

“Dr Barkow, Shasha and his staff are amazing. I had a painful digestive issue. No other doctor figured out what was wrong with me I was told it was a chronic condition, I would have to live the rest of my life immobilized in pain unable to eat. I went to Dr. Barkow in two minutes he diagnosed me correctly. I did have to go back to my primary because it was a physiological condition that needed surgery. Basically my cervical spine has collapsed entrapping my Vega Nerve. Surgery was a success. I have cone back to Dr. Barkow for a lower lumbar condition. I trust him to help me. And if he cannot, to tell me so and send me to the correct Dr. In any case this Doctor is the real deal!”

“This review is LONG OVERDUE! I want to thank ALL those who work at OCPM. I have been a patient for over 16 years. I have had 3 spinal/ spinal cord surgeries and suffer from Adhesive Arachnoiditis, which is extremely painful. Thankfully the medical staff (mostly Dr. Barlow before his unfortunate passing and now Steve Rhyan PA and Dr. Dedes) has kept my pain well managed. I can't thank you enough for giving a quality of life that's worth living. Although I appreciate all of the great care given by the people mentioned above, I wanted to specifically thank the office staff and Nghiem. Many times the workers behind the scenes get overlooked. Therefore, I wanted to send my gratitude to all of them and highlight Nghiem. He has worked there for many years. Over time he has been promoted up to office manager. This is understandable. Anyone that has Nghiem as an employee is lucky and should hold onto him. Anytime I have called and spoke with him about something I needed he personally made sure that it was 110% completed. I have always been so thankful for him because when you suffer from chthe last thing you want to do is fight with the insurance company or work with the pharmacy when it was an error on their part. Most recently I needed a copy of my chart and if possible in electronic format. As I mentioned before I have been a patient for 16 years. My medical record is hundreds of pages long. He personally took the job on and not only was it in electronic form but it was done quickly. Some offices only provided it in paper form, which is fine. It is understandable if they couldn't do it; but this just illustrates the quality of care Nghiem provides. I know it's not just me that he gives fantastic When I am in the office I have seen and heard him providing the same care for all. When looking for a pain management doctor, it's important that you find someone who can effectively treat your physical pain. In addition, it is equally important that the doctor/PA has great people working for them. I can't think of any better example of an exemplary care other than Nghiem and the entire OCPM staff. Thanks again for caring for me for the past 16 years. All of your efforts have given me back a great quality of life. For that I am forever grateful.”
