“I've been a patient for over 15 years. My dr retired and I saw his RN for 8 years. She retired. Now I'm stuck with Dr. Schmidt. I waited 1.5 hours for him to come to my room on Monday. He never showed up. I asked the awesome staff when he'd be in. I was told soon. The second time I asked the gal said "I could go get him from his office." My question is why was he in his office when I've waited an hour and a half? I left without getting my medication, a medication you should not stop abruptly. I warn you, he's never ever on time. The closest to being on time is 20 minutes late. His attitude is one of indifference. I would find a better time management dr who values his patients time. Unacceptable.”

“Arguably the worst medical facility I've ever come into contact with. I am a licensed trauma nurse and have never in my entire career seen a group of more unprofessional or uncaring medical providers. My mother was a patient of theirs and was dropped before she was able to receive a procedure that would have helped her long term acute pain. She was told by medical staff 2 hours before the procedure that in order for them to go through with it, she would have to get a workup done explaining why she had previously had an episode of low blood pressure. After scrambling at the last minute and receiving a workup from a physician at urgent care, she was turned down by Dr. Schmidt because the workup "was't good enough." Mind you, this information was given to my mother last minute and she had been needing this surgery for months. When she called them arguably furious, she was dropped as a patient. If you are thinking of becoming a patient of Stephen Schmidt, don't. He's a robotic medical provider at best and a heartless individual at worst. Wendy, one of the members of his staff, is no better. I was present when I heard her talk to my mother and father and could not believe the disrespect she showed both of them. Her judgmental, arrogant, and condescending remarks regarding my mother's condition were entirely out of place for someone so uneducated in her field. If there were ever two medical "professionals" who should consider leaving the field immediately due to their very apparent lack of care for patients and utter lack of respect, it would be Stephen Schmidt and Wendy.”
