Patient Testimonials
“Looks like the 1 star reviews are from 3+ years ago. I've been a patient here since 2011. I go regularly, every 3 months. Hence, the 5 stars. I may spend 5 minutes in the WR before I'm called to a procedure room. A nurse and a fellow greet you; again, under 5 minutes and the nurse is always there. The fellow, who has finished med school + their 4 year internship with a specialty in anesthesiology, is becoming a fellow in this specialized field of pain management. They will usually insert my medicine. The internship at this pain clinic is VERY prestigious and accepts about 8-10 people per year. It's quite an accomplishment for them and they are thrilled that they are there. One of the reasons why this program is so competitive to be accepted into is because of the physicians. They are well known in their field. The fellows WANT to learn from these doctors because of their experience and expertise in pain management medicine. My MD is usually in the room, sometime during procedure. They don't rush me in & out! Both the fellow and my doctor will take all the time necessary with me. It's never a quick, rushed appointment. The staff are very friendly; everyone there is. Initially, my doctor intimidated me. In the beginning, I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay there. After almost 13 years, we have a great relationship. It just takes time to realize. As my husband initially said, it's almost like a marriage. We are stuck with each other. Again, this was almost 13 years ago. I highly recommend this pain management center, conveniently located in Chestnut Hill. Just my opinion.”

“Horrible clinic!! Doc I saw had their own agenda, made their own predetermination of a generic diagnosis, was very dismissive of detailed descriptive pages of notes, that i brought in each time, .Doc themselves spend less than 5 minutes with you but have their guru in training spend about 5-10 minutes first. When a doc doesn't listen or seem to care, do yourself a favor, find a new one.. I did at another hospital and I am SO happy with my new pain management doctor!!!!! Best decision ever! BTW- It ends up that I do have exactly what I had been suggesting I had to the doc at 850 boylston, pain clinic, but had to suffer in extreme pain for over a yr, because they chose to have tunnel vision and not listen.”

“This place is a factory. One minute with a fellow, different each week with the same questions, one minute with the physician who is uncommunicative. These anaesthesiologists know nothing about patient-doctor communication. The last one, yelled from the hallway, in front of other patients without regard for HIPAA. One intervention tried in three months. Stay away. Partner's does not mean it is any good”

“This place is horrible! You can't even get an appointment without faxing the dr. Notes. I've called almost a month to follow up if they've received my Dr. Notes and each time they have claimed not to. I know my Dr. Office have faxed all the necessary documents. They always do for others offices without any issues. And for some reason this place never received any. I gave up. Looking for another pain management specialist.”
