“I have been going to this pain clinic for 5 years because I have the most painful condition known to man and it's rare so not a lot of physicians can help, when the typical meds are given to no avail I have Trigeminal Neuralgia type 1 AND Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia type 2 so for 18 months prior to finding Dr Chauhan, I was LITERALLY bounced from neurologist to an AHN pain clinic, where they had given me a Sphenopalatine Ganglion nerve block that never helped my pain but actually vamped it into over drove and made ME VERY Very sick to after 2nl this them literally telling my that they cannot help me and to go to a specialist ?!? The neurologist referred me so them, and waiting another SOX months to get an appointment with a different neurologist at the Kaufman building, so the app FINALLY gets here and after almost 2 hours and her getting HER lead physician because after every Frontline medication she has thrown at me, that I've already tried over and over with 0 relief and me trumping her with more knowledge BECAUSE I love with this chronic pain toe advocating for myself and telling her that I DONT NEED "drugs" as I'm not a drug seeker, I NEED relief, of HYSTERICALLy crying (at 45 years old, I'm so thankful my mom was with me!) because I was completely depleted and completely depressed so I walked out of the exam room and just balled, but my mom stayed and they had given 2 referrals, 1 for Mercy Pain Clinic and one for Fiesta MRI. I waled into Mercy pain clinic and was immediately treated like I actually mattered!? Dr Chauhan is not longer there but Kevin and KRISTEN and Rhonda, and Bailey are ABSOLUTELY amazing!! They have NEVER not messaged me back or called me back and have ALWAYS been so caring and GENUINELY want to help!! They literally saved my life 5 years ago whereas I was able to function again. I'm genuinely grateful for you all!”
