“Dr Pleasant is the best! He truly cares for his patients. He is very empathetic and works very hard to give them the best outcome. He has kept me going for a number of years now and I have no doubts that if it were not for his care that I would not be mobile. I highly recommend him.”

“I have attempted to schedule a new patient appointment with the Fayetteville office since October 23rd (today is November 21st) with no results. I called the office on 10/23/24 and was sent to voicemail (I did not leave one at this time). I called again the next day on 10/24/24 where I left a voicemail requesting a call back. After never hearing back, I called again on 11/15/24 and left another voicemail. To be on the safe side, I also completed an Appointment Request form on their website at 2:45pm. Only 30 minutes later at 3:15pm I received a call from a lovely lady that acknowledged me and asked additional questions. She informed me I should receive a call back from their scheduler 1 to 2 business days later. She is the only good part of this upsetting situation. After not hearing back from them by the end of the 2nd business day (Tuesday, 11/19/24) I tried calling again only to yet again be sent to voicemail. It is now Thursday, 11/21/24 and their office has closed for the day and I have received no further communications from their office. I have chronic pain from a genetic condition as well as a previous lumbar fusion. My grandmother was a patient before she passed almost a decade ago and my mother recommended this office based on that experience. The care team treated my grandmother with dignity towards the end of her life and so I wanted to have them assist me with my chronic pain. I'm sure the doctors are great based off of my mother's testimony and other reviews. But if you are wanting to establish care, you will not be contacted even if you are proactive with following up. I am left to assume that either their scheduling staff is incompetent (I feel awful for even typing that out) or they have made assumptions that I am drug seeking and think of me as less than human and not deserving of so much as even a response. Either way, others should rethink this office for pain management. It should also be noted I rarely leave negative reviews. People who experience chronic pain deserve more decency as they struggle enough. Please do better moving forward.”
