“I have some serious lower lumbar issues and SI joint issues, and Dr. Lai has been nothing less than amazing! I found him when my neurosurgeon said that i definitely needed a fusion but could look into other options first, one being the Intracept procedure. I googled docs who do this procedure and being a veteran myself, I chose Dr. Lai to fix me. Reading about his military service was all I needed to go forth with making him my pain doctor. Fast forward a few months, he got me signed up for the Intracept procedure and I was totally comfortable with his medical experience and having done these before. Anything with the spine is nerve wracking but Dr. Lai is so down to Earth and chill that I was chill for my surgery. I'm three months post op and even though my bone pain is 90% gone, my L5-S1 disc is starting to cause pain again and I literally just left his office after getting an epidural lumbar injection and again, he was so kind and calming, I'd recommend him to everyone!
