What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I am having the same problem with Pacific Sports and Spine as some of the other patients. First appointment was with Dr. Nayar, a spine doctor at Peace Health in Springfield. He went over my X-rays and told me that I would need shots one on either side of my lower spine and that surgery was not an option because of my age. I thought he would be doing the procedure, but that was not so and he referred me to Pacific Sports and Spine and what a mess that has become. Saw the doctor there and he agreed shots for the problem were needed. I had no idea how long this would take and my insurance still has not received the order for the procedure. Called the spine office and the very curt lady told me that it would take around 8 weeks to get it approved. I am elderly and in pain and my doctor here in Florence won't approve pain meds until I may or may not get okayed for the shots, one on both sides of my lower spine below where I had a major surgery for a tumor years ago. There or no other possibilities for me. I just don't understand why the surgeon I first went to wouldn't do the shots.”

“I've had nothing but positive experiences at Pacific Sports and Spine. I've had nerve ablation in my spine. I've had injections. Everything went smoothly. They seem to be in the avant-garde of procedures for back pain. I'm very happy with my experiences there.”

“I'm beyond frustrated with this place. If zero stars was a thing I'd click it! I started seeing one of the dr at the Sutherlin clinic first appointment. After my procedure was ordered I knew it was gonna take a few weeks cause of insurance. I called every week to get scheduled for the procedure at the Sutherlin office. Multiple weeks go by and the scheduling person never got back to me! I left voicemails and even the last one I was in so much pain I was crying on voicemail. I finally called the Eugene clinic to get my procedure scheduled we we're looking a couple weeks out for that done the day of my procedure I had to wait and wait for it to be done because they were behind well finished that and scheduled a follow up (had to reschedule due to double booking on my part) came to the Eugene clinic for f/u today and got there half hour before my appointment. Well 45 minutes had gone by so I asked the front desk person how much longer until my appointment because I've already been waiting for 45 minutes he was very nice and went to check for me came back and said that the doctor was behind from previous appointment and it was going to be another 15 minutes to 30 minutes so that would of put me waiting a hour and 15 minutes for my appointment I was on time for but instead of anyone saying anything I wasted my time driving from Sutherlin to Eugene to not be seen! This is ridiculous. If I would've been 10 minutes late, they would've made me reschedule anyway so why is it OK for a doctor to not be held to the same standard as the patient? I'm unsatisfied with how I was treated by both places.”

“The Dr. and staff is great, but the scheduling department is a nightmare to contact. I had my procedure ordered 4 months ago, and finally being able to get it done. People neglect to remember that their patients are relying on things like this to either move on the the next step or relieve the pain they are already experiencing. There would be days I would call 8-10 times with no response. No response to my voice messages, and no updates on any part of the whole process. I don't know what is going on in this front office, but this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a scheduling department, and something big needs to change. I would hate for someone to have to go through what I experienced. I'm so disappointed that this is allowed.”
