“Dr Slagle accidentally injected the nerve to my back which paralyzed me for 21 hours. I told him I had no one at home with me. That didn't bother anyone in the office except his assistant who offered to take me home and stay with me. He was told by office manager (who is Dr Slagels wife) that that was not allowed, too big of a liability! I asked could I take the wheelchair with me overnight and the office manager said "NO! It cannot leave this office". So, I'm thinking who I could call because I had only live in Hot Springs a few months. I have never been mistreated like that day in a doctors office. My husband was on the Arkansas Medical Board for several years. Although I didn't report the entire office, I should have. Don't be fooled by Dr Slagel and his staff. They don't have a caring heart at all! No one ever called to check on me. Instead, I was referred to physical therapy. They no longer wanted to help me. I guess I was too much of a liability!”
