Patient Testimonials
“There bedside manner is ridiculous. They came across and very nice and accommodating but they're not. They don't listen to you when you want to talk. The np wanted nothing to do with hearing what my husband had to say. This clinic is all about the money. They do not care about your pain. They will even sabotage any chance you have of getting procedure if they don't like you. They do not care. You are a dollar sign to them. That's it.”

“I went to this clinic for severe chronic back pain had all the paperwork sent to them with imaging they decided they wanted to put a steroid shot in my back they put me on Tylenol 4S would not prescribe anything stronger I have failed three times and was in a car accident would not help me with the acute as they would say pain I had to go through my primary physician for something stronger than pain I went there on the 28th for an appointment talk to them about why they wouldn't up the dose why they would not help me with the acute pain and that you know why couldn't they have done something when I called them when I was an emergency room from a car wreck to help me with pain. On September the 2nd they called me and said that they was going to have to fire me as a patient because I was in a car wreck that makes no sense this clinic only wants to do shots in your back so they can charge your insurance more. The Tylenol 4 is like taking a baby aspirin would not recommend this place to anybody”

“Dr. Slagle appeared to be a good doctor and I had no bad experiences while I was with this clinic. Then I was involved in a car accident in which another party was liable. I called to get an appointment to check everything out and was told by Michael (office manager) that I would have to find another clinic, because they do not see patients with pending liability insurance settlements. I was disappointed but understood their position. However, this was a huge inconvenience when i had soreness from the accident and was in need of services - and it can take months to get an appointment at another clinic. Two clinics and 1.5 years later, I called and tried to get back in with Dr. Slagle. The receptionist would not allow me to talk to the nurse. She put me on hold and then came back and told me that I can never come back to their clinic - that their policy was to never take a patient who has left there and gone to another clinic. When I said they left me no choice, and I would like to talk with the nurse - she hung up on me. I sent a message to them on facebook saying what a good doctor Slagle is, and how disappointed I am in their policies - that I would prefer their clinic over any other. I did mention the unnecessary rudeness of the receptionist. About a half hour later I got a call from the nurse saying the doctor did not like my post at all and I should take it down immediately. She said it was not true - I said which part, that Dr. Slagle is a good doctor?. When I explained what happened, she said that I was asked to leave due to collections on my account! This last, even though I have good insurance and paid every procedure in full at the time of service. After all of this negativity you could not pay me to go back to this clinic. Since this experience, I have spoken with the Arkansas Association of Neurologists and gotten much needed advice on the pain management specialty. These are very risky procedures that are being done, and it's important to check out a physician carefully - thank God no permanent damage occurred to my neck before I found this out. There are only a handful of doctors in Arkansas certified by the American Board of Pain Management, meaning that they have served a year fellowship and formal certification after obtaining their license in neurology. While a neurologist can legally do the procedures, they are not all properly trained to do them. None of the doctors in the Hot Springs area are certified in the pain management specialty, including Dr. Slagle.”

“Dr Slagle changed my life for the better. I could barely get around when he started treating me and now I can physically do pretty much what I want to do. I highly recommend him and his kind and caring staff.”
