What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“Dr Jorgensen and his staff are true professionals with great attitudes and willingness to help their patients and have always treated me with respect. Dr. Jorgensen has been very informative and has always presented me with all the opportunities and let me choose my path. This clinic is my third clinic in 15 years and it is significantly better than the others I've been to, both the doctor and the staff. I'm not having injections at this point, but if I needed them in the future, I would have high confidence in Dr. Jorgensen's ability to treat me.”
— Richard Klingman
“Dr. Jorgensen is one of the few doctors I have encountered these days that truly seems to care about his patients. He takes the time to get to know your situation and you as a person. I'm so pleased that he's my doctor. I'm waiting to see if the injection works but regardless, I'm optimistic he'll be able to get my pain under control. I highly recommend him & his staff.”
— Stephanie McKee
“Dr. Jorgensen comes across as one of those doctors who are just in the business of collecting insurance money. At my first appointment with him he came across as arrogant, unconcerned with me, in a hurry, and we talked for only about 5 minutes. In the last 6 months since then I have only talked to him that one time--his assistant is the only contact I have ever had. Even when he does a procedure on my cervical spine, he doesn't talk to me before or after the procedure. Within minutes (after a procedure) I am sent out the door while still sedated. At the last procedure he injected too much of the sedative and he still sent me out the door within minutes after the procedure. I was bumping into walls and falling onto cars as I made my way to my car. Thank God I brought a driver! Once he prescribed a muscle relaxer that caused me to hallucinate. I went online to read about the medication only to discover that it is not suppose to be taken with one of the other medications I am on. You trust a doctor to check into these things--isn't that the point of giving him a list of all of my medications at my intake appointment? The procedures he has done for me have only increased my pain significantly. You'd think that due to my pain being so much worse he'd want to talk to me, but no, I have still only talked to him once. Lastly, I made a 2:00 appointment for today. I received 2 or 3 reminder phone calls which said that I had an appointment at 2:00. When I got there the receptionist said that I missed my 1:45 appointment and so it was canceled. Even if my appointment was at 1:45, which is was not, the appointments at the Oregon Pain Center only last about 5 or 10 minutes, so why on earth couldn't they see me? I demanded my usual 5 minute appointment with the assistant so that I could get a referral for an MRI and get a referral for another doctor. I will never ever go back to the Oregon Pain Center.”

“I am 44 years old, I am an anesthesia provider, and a patient with degenerative disc disease. I have had 2 spine surgeries and one ablation prior to meeting the team at Oregon Pain Center. Caitlin, the RN scheduled all my appointments like a pro. Albert, the Physician Assistant, listened to every word I said, and treated me respectfully, as a patient with legitimate pain. Dr. Mambalam did my injections and RFA beautifully and I got 90% relief (so far!) Even working in healthcare, I felt sometimes as though I was not believed. I felt belittled, and as though I should just stop asking for help. OPC made me feel welcome. They understood, and they treated me respectfully. For that I will always be grateful. Don't give up. Call OPC.”
