Patient Testimonials

The office manager is an absolute nightmare. Incredibly rude and hateful in every interaction. She will call you names for simply asking questions about how things work. DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you enjoy being treated like a bug. I have been in pain management for seven years and I've never been so appalled by the way patients are handled.

Tested positive on urine test, got threatened and yelled at then next appointment I brought it up, once again stating I had taken nothing that would cause me to fail a test. The doctor shrugged, said, "it's OK, the followup test was negative, so the first test was a false positive. No apology. No professionalsim!

I have been in pain management for 11years now. I see Dr. Gaines who is great at what he does. Most of the office staff are friendly and kind as well. I do have reserved feelings about 1 whom is not very friendly and seems to be a little harsh, however, with that said, this office is very busy so getting things done in a quick manner is a must. A smile and a please and thank you is a great customer service skill however and goes a very long way when dealing with patients. Otherwise, the office is clean, office staff are great. Dr Gaines listens and answers any questions I have.

My husband suffered a back injury in 1988 and was advised it would get worse over time. He tries hard to bear the pain and go about his day. Over the years, he's had to change pain management clinics several times for various reasons. He's seen a vast difference between each clinic. Optimal Pain and Wellness has far exceeded our expectations!! The staff have always been kind and treated us with the utmost respect. Dr Gaines takes time with us and listens to our concerns! He works with us as a team to ensure my husband is as comfortable and functional as possible! Thank you for treating us with respect and not as drug seekers! It truly makes a difference in my husband's quality of life! We absolutely love the new office!
