“She was helpful the first time I saw her for my back issues. HOWEVER. Three years later, the issue resurfaced (disc herniation L5/S1) to a degree that was unbearable. I was sent for an MRI before getting injections from Dr Oleski, and I was told to bring a copy of the MRI on a disc (as was usual at this office) the day of my injections. Since I was not in my right mind because of the pain I was experiencing, I didn't realize until after I had left Dr Oleski's office that the MRI disc was still in my bag. What she was looking at was a two year old MRI. That she didn't notice that it was two years old, and that she specifically said to me right before the injections that "Kate, this isn't even as bad as last time", essentially shaming me/insinuating I was not experiencing the pain I was in, have left me irate. She made me question my sanity. I have never experienced pain like that in my life, and she dismissed it outright. My neurosurgeon looked at my MRI three days later (thankfully I went for a second opinion) and got me in for surgery *immediately* because of how severe the herniation was. If Dr Oleski had bothered to take the time to look at the date of the MRI, maybe I wouldn't have had to question whether or not I was, in fact, experiencing the excruciating pain that I thought I was. I'm not sure how to convey how serious this was - it was unbearable pain; I was suicidal. I didn't sleep for *weeks*. The person that was in the position to help me chose instead to shame me and make me feel like I was drug-seeking all because she didn't do her job the right way. Mistakes happen, and I know that. If Dr Oleski had been sympathetic, or even acted slightly human towards me instead of herding me through her surgery center like cattle, I would feel different. It took me a YEAR to be able to write this. I have been too livid before now. I do not recommend her.”

“Horrible Dr.. She was wonderful caring and understanding before she went on maternity leave for her 1st baby. After that no compassion for patients. Only options for a 40yr old with chronic back pain for over 10 yrs is surgery in her eyes. I took her advice the 1st time had surgery was never the same and she wanted to put me thru more. Also watch they love not labeling urine samples and saying your taking things your not! Not helpful, and staff watches as elder abuse goes on in waiting room. Horrible place. Only giving a star cause I have to to write this!”
