What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I was seeing Dr Sayers for almost 4 years. I've had tons of injections, that never worked and was on two narcotics. One day they called me for a surprise urinalysis, I explained that we had just lost our home and had to be out of it by the end of the next day could I come in on Friday instead of Thursday. They said no and dropped me as a patient. I've never had a dirty or bad urinalysis so I was pretty upset about this. He is injection happy and puts you on Oct AND methadone. Since being out of his care I've lost 27 lbs and feel like myself again. After withdrawing from methadone I will NEVER use it even as a pain med. He gives you addicting meds then accuses you of working him as an addict. Very rude and rushes and hurts you more then you did before you got there.”

“Dr. Sayeed has no compassion at all for his patience. I would love to know how many of his patience leave his practice every month. On our first visit he wanted to do four sets of injections within the first month. I was really surprised on how aggressive he was about the treatment. So I made all the appointments at his ambulatory center there in Edgewood and proceeded how he had planned. The next office visit I had was for 130 pm. I waited in the lobby, Hour after hour. Every patient after me going to the bathroom peeing in the cup and seeing the doctor and leaving. So ten minutes before the office closes he calls me back. Him and a new doctor in training sit me down and interrogate me. Yelling at me. Saying I'm a addict and I am on there for meds. I told him did he know that I had just completed the whole set of injections and this was our second office visit. I could not believe this was happening. I was totally caught off guard. Even If i was just looking for meds it was just our second office visit. I kept my mouth shut and waited to be excused. I immediately found another doctor and seven thousand dollars later feeling no better and humiliated. By all means stay away from this practice. The doctor is only interested in performing the injections and has other issues.”

“Have been a Patient of Dr Sayeed's for about 5 years now. His office does have strict rules about keeping injection appointments, urinalysis tests, not abusing medications, etc. As long as you follow the rules of the practice I cannot imagine you will have much trouble. When I started with him 5 years ago I was absolutely having worse pain then I have today. He has helped me significantly. When my insurance changed some medications weren't covered and he helped me find the best alternative possible. When I speak to him about certain meds not working he gives me other options I can try. I will agree with some other reviews that say that the wait time can be long but I have seen it improve over the years. I did run into one issue with one of his PAs not listening to me and when I mentioned it to Dr. Sayeed he took the time to understand what was wrong and correct the problem. In my opinion if you follow the rules and get the treatments done he recommends you should not have a problem with him as a physician.”

“I was going here for over 2yrs. Not only did they handle everyone's drug tests he injected me over 26 injections in the 1st yr. Dr. Sayeed wanted to burn my nerves and when I told him my neurologist told me never to get them burnt he told me to let him do his job!! Now I think a Neuro doctor knows a lot more about the spine than a anesthesiologist!!! I did everything they told me to do but when I said no to this procedure everything started to be suspicious activity going on. Plus they stick you with a NP and Dr. Sayeed only sees new patients”
