What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“We have had a very difficult time with communication and scheduling with this office. Read the reviews very carefully below. The "schedulers" in this office are slow and nonresponsive. As an example, a patient approved for a second epidural injection has been waiting for TWO WEEKS after an in-office visit for a call from a "scheduler" to get on the calendar for the procedure, despite an order placed by the physician when the patient was in the office. This type of extended delay on scheduling is unacceptable and inexcusable. This patient has called multiple times to follow-up, and no one from the office has responded. The practice manager (Shelby) and the office supervisor (Cora) are never available or accountable. They do not return calls. It's disappointing that they have not implemented protocols within the office to improve their scheduling responsiveness - and it's shocking that the physicians are not holding their staff accountable. If I was Dr. Vinayakan and I knew my staff was waiting over two weeks to schedule procedures and that they were not returning patient calls, I would be livid. When you are in pain, every day waiting on the office to call you is infuriating, and just extends the delay. When a patient calls, they should receive a return call within 24 hours. That does not happen at this office. Not even close. I've not had an experience like this with any other medical practice group, and it reflects very poorly on Dr. Vinayakan and Rachel Ray, APRN. I urge you to seek a referral to another pain management group in Louisville if you have the opportunity.”
— Kimberly Ballard
“I wish I could give these people a 4 Star rating but can't. I see Christopher Reynolds and nothing is going right. I brought them a letter from my pain management practice releasing me from the practice because of insurance reasons. In February of 2025. They claim I never brought it to them. They never posted it to my file. I had to scheduley own MRI after the doctor ordered it. I figured they'd reach out to me to schedule it well they didn't. I'm supposed to get my lower back injections. I probably will have to schedule that too since they're to lazy to do their job”
— Karla Brown
“The staff are super amazing, so friendly and polite and willing to help, but the gem here is Dr Vanayakan. He otherworldly, he actually listens to everything you say and gives great feedback. I've sat in his office in tears over deaths in my family, he let me take my time and was even sympathetic when my god mother Alzheimer's got bad. He gave me sound advice, but more so he gave me peace. He's an amazing Dr. oh and yes he helped my pain”
— Kristine Engler
“I went to pain management for treatment for permanent nerve damage but all they wanted to do was injections which they couldn't do to my right groin so I had to leave untreated”
— Donald Wooden
