Patient Testimonials

This is a great clinic so far. The things that they have done are almost surreal even though they should be commonplace, but actually reviewing previous records, doing a good physical exam and really trying to understand what was going on and helping to find the best solution. This is the first doctors office after searching through a lot of them that don't just treat someone like an addict for having chronic pain.

I've dealt with constant chronic pain throughout my body as a result of surviving a near-fatal car wreck over 30 years ago. It's now part of who I am, but as I get older, it gets harder to try to pull off living a "normal" life without ongoing treatment & effective medication. Adding to that challenge is finding qualified, empathetic, and knowledgeable professionals to be part of my medical team, especially in the realm of pain management, which has been & will be a regular part of my every day process, just as a matter of fact. I know that and am not expecting my pain to disappear, but I would like to be able to function somewhat normally and not dread waking up every day. I've made some rounds in the local pain management arena, without any real luck, until I was referred to NW Spine & Pain Medicine. I had my first visit at the Coeur d'alene office and from my first interaction with their Spokane staff when I called to follow up on my referral, I have received the best care I could've imagined! Starting all over with new providers can be very daunting and though I had a bit of apprehension at the thought of it, that feeling disappeared from the moment my initial call was answered! The woman who answered (I wish I could remember her name!) was reassuring & friendly to speak to, even more so once she saw that my referral hadn't yet been received & could hear my disappointment. She was attentive & gave me some heartfelt suggestions to make sure of in order to ensure that it would be sent correctly to the right place & gave me a realistic time line as to when I could expect results. After speaking with her, I completed the suggested tasks & braced myself for a likely wait of a week or so. To my delight & surprise, she called me the very next morning to let me know that the referral had come through & I was fortunate enough to be scheduled very soon thereafter, within a week of that call, to be seen as a new patient! My experiences with this center & all personnel with whom I've interacted thus far have been nothing short of what I needed most. From being immediately greeted & checked in to being seen, evaluated, and heard, I finally feel hope when I think of going further into care with Michelle Brothers, who was everything I could have hoped for in a pain management provider. I look forward to feeling like somebody who matters again, as opposed to somebody else's inconvenience. (Apologies for being long-winded here but it was important to me to leave my honest review & appreciation, especially after reading some of the harsher reviews, maybe for the Spokane office, prior to having any interactions with them, after my primary suggested that I see DNP Brothers. I can't say enough good things about the care I have received from them at every level. I would gladly recommend pursuing care from this group if you're in pain, with confidence that you will be in good hands every step of the way. Best wishes to you!)
