What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“Don't go here!!! I wish I had read the reviews before I went there. The staff everyone up front was super nice. The nurse practitioner Sabrina was very nice and listened to what I had to say. After she left, I could hear the Doctor that I was about to see outside the door talking about me.Word by word I could hear everything he said. So I'm pretty sure other patients also heard. When he finally came inside, he looked like he'd been in a food fight because he had his lunch on his clothes. Not very professional. And when we were talking to him. My husband and I both noticed that he was rolling his eyes and he didn't seem to care about anything I was saying. Needless to say, I cancel my appointment to go back and my MRI”

“The office staff were very nice and organized. Got me in quickly. I was in excruciating pain. They were efficient in determining what needed to be done and addressed my pain. They even made an appointment for me to have an MRI at an outside facility that I could afford. The results were related to me very quickly as was the treatment plan. For the first night in 2 weeks, I was able to sleep the entire night with no pain! I am so incredibly grateful!!”

“Before I start - one of three phrases would have gone a long way in saving this experience. "I'm sorry", "I understand this is frustrating" or "I know you've been in pain a long time". It was hell trying to get this appointment to begin with. Going back and forth with them, my primary care, and my insurance company. Northside Spine and Pain kept telling me "No, not that paper from insurance, the other paper from the insurance." Okay, so I ask if they're willing to be on the line with me while I call my primary care or insurance to ensure I'm getting the right thing. No, they aren't willing to do that. So I spend nearly two weeks figuring out what they vaguely need, then my appointment is another two weeks down the line, all the while I'm getting pain so sharp it causes me to fall. Not that it would be hard to figure out what the heck is going on. I've got CTs, car accident reports, ER visits, a whole mess of back information they could have looked up if they asked. But did they get that information or ask? Nope. There was certainly time for them to do this since my appointment was set so far after my first call-in. So I enter this appointment in pain, after years of pain, and getting into more pain as I'm stretched and prodded as a result of exams there in the office. I ask if they're going to do anything for pain? No, not until the MRI. Okay, do they know when the MRI is going to be? No. No guess, no timetable, no "I'm sorry for the delay" or "We're going to take care of you once we know what's going on". Not a thing. I do not believe in metaphysical healing but this is an office that wants me to take it on faith, without reinforcement, that something is going to happen. I even tried being upfront about my PTSD so that they'd know, in advance, that I have a history of going to authority figures to be taken care of and either being ignored or dismissed. It is completely unacceptable that I arrive to this appointment in pain, end up in more pain from the examination, then receive absolutely no guidance on what to do outside maybe hopefully having an MRI in the future. So I arrived at this appointment in pain but cautiously optimistic, and left knowing I'd once again be left in pain while someone confirms their hunch that looking at my medical records would have confirmed. Stop it with this lazy irresponsible response to people suffering, and if you can't be specific when responding to questions then you better darn well learn to be comforting.”

“I was administered 3 shots at this clinic and was never seen in an office prior to these shots or after. All was done virtually. I was referred to a neurosurgeon after the last shot. When i called to request records the resource who answered sent me to a nurses number twice where a message was left for a callback. I never received the call back and on my third call the girl who answered acted like I did not matter and was extremely rude. I was then told i had to deal with Northside Hospital to get records. I made that call and was told a minimum of 2 weeks from the request date and probably 3. So from a Spine and Pain clinic i will now wait in pain over paperwork. STAY AWAY from this place.”
