“I have been a patient of Dr. Yoo, Olga& Marry Ann at North of Atlanta Pain Clinic, for many years they have helped me manage my chronic and debilitating pain with compassion, care and kindness. When I have complications, they are quick to respond! They fight with the Insurance Companies to make sure every patient gets the absolute best care that they need to be able to have some normal semblance of function in their daily life. The wait to be called back into a room is only 2-4 minutes when the Dr. or PA come in the room they always have bright smiles, they remember you and anything you have shared w/them and are happy to see you, asking how has your pain been? Then they truly listen and will make any needed adjustments. Every question and concern is addressed asap and they will instantly refer you out for X-rays, CT Scans, MRI, PT/OT, and to see other specialist if necessary. I have consistently been treated with dignity and compassion, no one at N. of ATL pain has ever been made to feel less than like most of other pain Drs have in the past. Therefore, making my already difficult life worse. North of Pain is by far and away the very BEST pain care team, I happily drive 30- 60 minutes (depending on traffic) to see them every month. We had the worst experience we've ever had with any health care provider. My mom got a steroid injection on her back, after which she had an extreme pain flair all over her body. She went to see the doctor to follow up and all he did was stress that it wasn't the injection and not his fault and "referred" her told her to see a specialist. But wait, isn't he a specialist? So what you're saying is I don't know what I'm doing and I want you to go away. He didn't offer her any pain management strategies or give her any treatment to relieve her of her pain at follow up, irregardless of what the reason for her pain was. Completely irresponsible care of a patient.”
