Patient Testimonials

I was trying to get a referral to be seen here. My general doctors office said they required an npi number to complete the referral. So, I called and asked for it. The lady that answered the phone was so rude to me and said no one needs that number and I don't really feel comfortable giving it to you. She questioned me as if I were a criminal. I told her I was doing what my doctor office asked. She refused and was very mean about it. Needless to say I'm going somewhere else. I don't have the energy for dealing with this. I called them back and explained to them this is what the doctor said. The office personnel to me to google it! So I can google it but she can't just give me the information I need? This place is a joke and obviously could care less about anyone in pain.

I've had excellent care from Dr. Morrison and his staff over many years. He takes the time to hear my situation and finds a way to help. Dr. Morrison has taken better care of my overall health issues more than some of my other physicians. He is not just a doctor that gives you a script and runs in the room and out quickly. He takes the time you need and listens. I HIGHLY recommend him and I am blessed to have him as my doctor watching over my overall health and care.

Made my first appointment with office for which I waited a week for scheduled date - severe nerve pain - can barely walk. I missed my first appointment - by hours - and called when I realized I had conflicting info. I was told by a less than kind office personnel, that Doctor Morrison would no longer take me as a patient since I missed my appointment. I explained to the office personal that possibly, just possibly, there was an error in communication which they steadfastly stated that could not happen. I advised them that I have paperwork that clearly shows some poorly communicated information. At this point, I knew any doctor that would refuse a patient in pain that had waited a week for that appointment was not doctor I would want to care for me...but I did want him to see the information I had that clearly shows - yes indeed we all make mistakes. I was told by his office to submit my info thru the patient portal. I did . A few hours later I checked the portal to see if there was any sort of acknowledgement and found they had already disabled my account - so who knows if this doctor even saw my email. I called back and spoke with another office personal who told me that once the doctor decides to not see you he will not read any of my information. The conversation when downhill from there. In a nutshell - this doctor should possibly reconsider his field of profession. So disappointed in his callous handling of a person in pain. Shame on him and 'his' policy.

I love this office all around. They are well versed in the paperwork needed for insurance. They have always treated me kindly. Dr. Straus has always listened to my needs as they have changed throughout the years. He has never pushed me into taking something I was not comfortable taking. He is kind and only prescribes the amounts needed to keep my pain controlled. I believe in him, His staff and the circumstances under which they work. .
