Patient Testimonials

All staff members were so helpful. Chirag Sanghvi, M.D. has helped me with several procedures. He is excellent with patient care making sure all is well before, during, & after a procedure. I don't know what I would do without the help from everyone at Newbridge Spine & Pain Center. They are all a very wonderful & caring team. Thanks to Carlton & Shirley for directing me to get the correct help that I need. All staff provide a very professional & supportive atmosphere.

Dr. Carlton is Great! He's a really nice guy and I believe he has my best interests in mind each time I visit. Everyone at the Frederick office including the appointment scheduler's, nurses and all the doctors treat me with respect and I genuinely feel like they care. Thank you Newbridge!!! Office is also very well keep and clean. 10/10 excellent all around. Great people working there They are also gamers and sports fans so I'm bumping the review up to a 6 out of 5 stars. 11 out of 10. Always nice to see the staff there! Great people!

Update: I've been coming for a few months now and I am very happy going here for my pain management. I feel heard and empowered to discuss my treatment plan and what's working and what's not. The staff is always polite and kind. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes for my appointment. I have just begun treatment here for DDD. So far, it's been a good experience. I felt heard and everything was explained well. I'm hoping to continue with treatment and find the best option for my chronic pain.

My 88-year-old mother was a patient at Newbridge for one year for severe arthritis in both shoulders. Her first visit to the office was the only time she was seen by the actual pain med doctor who's picture appears on the website; all visits every four weeks following were with a CNP. The waiting room is very unwelcoming with one wall covered with Xerox pictures of cats who I can only assume belong to the staff. Her 15 minute office visit would consist of signing in with a very unfriendly receptionist at the front desk, followed by nurse Tammy, who would accompany my mom to the exam room and proceed to complain about her employment at Newbridge. The 15 minute office visit every 4 weeks involved a blood pressure check a question about the severity of her pain and updating the computer for her prescription that would be called into the pharmacy. There was no 'hands on' exam, no offer for how my Mom cld achieve mobility, no Cortisone injection to add comfort longevity between appointments. Approximately five weeks ago we arrived for my mom's visit again solely to process her medication refill and that particular day my mom's right shoulder was severely out of joint. No one suggested we immediately get an x-ray, although we were given an order for an x-ray and it was suggested we visit a former orthopedic doctor who had previously suggested we see a pain specialist because maybe fluid needed to be drawn off my mom's shoulder. In the week that followed that appointment, my mom was admitted to MedSTAR in Frederick, where we learned that her right shoulder was dislocated. She spent a week at medSTAR with her shoulder/arm in a sling and for the past three weeks she has been in a rehab facility as we wait for the shoulder to set so that she can be discharged home. If she needs a pain med regimen going forward, we will not be returning to Newbridge.
