Patient Testimonials

From day one I've had nothing but a bad experience with this establishment. After 3 years going here I can honestly say I would never want to go back. My doctor's office sent over a referral recently to this office and they sent it an incorrectly and now I got stuck with the bill even though it should be under my insurance. Not only was the provider I met with very unprofessional did not listen to me refuse to help me I was there for 5 minutes and I still got this expensive bill for nothing it's absolutely insane. I would try to find a different provider if I was you. I went in there and I was being very polite about why I was there talking about my concerns and about why my doctor sent me the referral the provider that I was set up with did not listen to me whatsoever did not assist me did not give me any help and then just sent me a hefty bill so basically I got stuck with an over $100 bill for them to just give me an attitude which is very unprofessional. Shame on this place

3.5 When will this office embrace telemedicine? Is it really necessary in this day and age, esp given the construction nightmare that is Syracuse for the foreseeable future, to make make patients schlep down there for follow up appointments after shots just, tests, etc, to sit in a chair to say it went well or get results? Some of the people who go to this office are older and/or have mobility issues. Why can't this office make their lives just a little bit easier by doing follow -ups and consultations by telemedicine?

I'm a patient here at NYS&W and have seen many of the doctors and Nurse Practitioners here as well. I'm always treated with respect and they take the time needed when I'm having pain issues. I'm thankful they make sure I'm not taking too much pain medication and keep me accountable because I've had other doctors who just write a big script and walk away. I especially thank Kimberly Ruszczyk and Dr Ryan McConn for helping me through some very difficult times. I'm thankful also for the doctors at SOS who have referred me here

I had a visit today at New York Spine and Wellness. My visit was going well The receptionist people are very nice the triage people that does your vitals are very nice and pleasant. My problems occurred when a nurse named Carol came in the room. She was not friendly she didn't say hi or anything she just went to the computer and start looking and started asking me questions. As I was explaining myself for why I was there she became a little bit abrasive as I was trying to tell her what was going on in the my reason for being there. She explained to me that I need it to release my records from my prior doctor which was fine but the way she expressed herself and the manner that she used was just totally unacceptable. She talked to me like I was beneath her. I couldn't understand anything. As we went back and forth the atmosphere grew very hostile. She kept explaining that I needed to release the information and I kept telling her I understand that and I knew that she couldn't prescribe me any medication until she had my records. It was a very bad experience and I'm just saying to any patience who run across a nurse named Carol get another one. The rest of the people there are very nice and pleasant some of the nursing there is not nice.
