“My experience at New York Spine & Pain Physicians has been very positive. The staff are all very friendly and professional. Yesterday was my second time going there, for a procedure to treat my back pain. The initial treatment was ineffective, so the doctor recommended that this alternate treatment be performed. Both procedures were carried out in a very professional manner, with the doctor explaining everything she was doing, step by step. After each procedure, I was instructed on what to do and what not to do, as well as when I could expect to experience pain relief. Follow up appointments were scheduled for two weeks later on both occasions, to document the results of the procedure. I'm completely satisfied with this practice, the treating doctor, as well as the staff members. I highly recommend this practice to others, who are in need of a source of pain relief.”

“The doctor Dr Shalmi does great at the procedure, however the constant check in after each appointment even though we come up with a plan of up to 3 epidural shots, or if the pain returns come back for the shot is unclear and unneeded. I do not want to do a follow up for something that was already stated should be done if this occurs. This place waste time with unnecessary appointments that last 10 minutes when the medical necessity was already documented. The only reason for this is a money grab to get as many appointments out of the client as possible. Go elsewhere.”
