What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“This office lacks compassion and empathy in the worst way. I have macular degeneration and I came for an appointment today but was mad at the door by a very rude greeting what did I here for Am I here for an appointment Am I here for a procedure and I said I'm here for an appointment I'm a new patient. Then as she discovered my appointment was another half hour because I was rather early she said well we're here we're we're doing lunch and nobody's here until 11:30 while they were all there and I said can I wait Yes you can okay so I waited by that time I left my ride had left and was going to pick me up later after my appointment. She asked if I had my paperwork and I said no I hadn't gotten it in the mail and I couldn't fill it out because of my macular degeneration I can't see to feel forms out they're too small and my handwriting never never hits where it's supposed to and ask if they would fill it out for me they refuse to fill out my paperwork and said they were shorthanded and didn't have enough people to help me. I said I've never encountered this before I suffered from macular degeneration for 10 years and no one has ever refused to help me and she said don't you have family or friends to fill it out . I explained that I had no family here and that I hate to ask friends to be doing stuff for me all the time because since I can't drive and I can't see to read or feel forms out I hate to ask everybody for everything all the time so I do as much as I can on my own but this was something I couldn't do and everyone is always been friendly and helpful filling out forms for me at offices. She insisted that I take it home and find somebody to fill it out for me. So I left. I did not receive schedule. If this is the way they treat new people who they've never seen yet but I can't imagine how they would treat me as a patient. People come to them because of pain pain does not make people happy they wouldn't help me feel any better considering their lack of compassion or empathy so I gave one star because there was no place to give no stars.”

“Tonya and Jody are great! Both myself and my husband go there. They work our appointments on the same day if possible and back to back so I can sit in on my husband's appointment. They are both willing to help all they can! Keep up the good work girls!!”

“I have always appreciated the staff with Dr Gordon@ NY PainManagement. Always friendly and professional and making sure that patients are comfortable. But today they touched my heart. An elderly lady was feeling anxious and stated she wished her daughter could be with her while waiting for her procedure. The staff tried to reassure her and help her to feel less anxious to little success. So the staff went and got her daughter to sit with her. That was all the lady needed. A familar face among a lot of unknown ones. I so appreciated the caring and thoughtfulness that was given to her when she was feeling vulnerable and insecure. Your observations were spot on and was a blessing for the patient. Great job ladies!”

“Dr. Charles Gordon, NY Pain Medicine. He asked me 2 days ago if I would come to Clifton Park office and be a part of his CBS channel 6 news interview. It was regarding the alternatives to pain, medication, opiates, with alternative fixtures for a long-term health solution. I was very honored, nervous, but it was a great experience. Thank you, Dr. Gordon and news channel 6 forgiving me a wonderful experience during some difficult times. I first met him 34 years ago when he gave me my epidural. I was in labor for my son Ryan for 24 to 36 hours. He was an anesthesiologist then. I was re-introduced to him over I believe more than 10 years ago. I suffer from chronic pain syndrome sometimes horrible. I do not believe in taking pain medicine due to many circumstances. He has given me a higher quality of life due to the pain. My body is and I will never be able to thank him enough. He is professional, likes my jokes and I have no filter. I get that from my father passed away over six years ago. He was a full blooded Irishman and funny as heck. He's done a lot for me and my husband. Thank you, Dr. Gordon!”
