Patient Testimonials

Stay Away! They have negative patient handling capacity. They have too many and not enough people working. You cannot call each office individually for appointments. You MUST call their main hotline, handled elsewhere or something. EVERYTHING takes them FOREVER or never happens. They do not care how in pain you are. They are here for the money, not to help their patients. Today I have called the surgery center 3 times. Each time, I was in line and noticed it ticked down at intervals. Once I got to the front of the queue, I was put straight to Voicemail.. Which they NEVER get back to you. In short, NO ONE has picked up at surgeries ALL DAY and no one called back. You will be rushed into their offices then ignored.. New patients they love. They WILL NOT transfer your papers ANYWHERE else. They WILL NOT let you walk in and take your own medical transcripts Hubby and I are working with a lawyer since we can't get his info and we should have FULL ACCESS.

I was referred to NPC for persistent Neck spasms. My initial visit went very well, and would have rated a 5 star review. However, my follow-up visit has proved difficult, at best. I'm hopeful that this review might prompt some sort of response. On my follow-up visit, I was told I needed a CT scan, and a pain medication prescription to tide me over until the CT results were ready. Great! After a week, no referral. I've called now 3 times. Navigating their phone system is an adventure - but I never got to speak to a live person. I've left messages with no response, however to be fair their VM system cannot handle messages over 10 seconds and cut me off. They don't appear to have a patient portal, so I don't know any other way to contact them. My pharmacy is having the same issue. They won't fill the pain prescription until they contact NPC to verify the prescription. After a week, they have been unable to contact anyone as well. I've even tried to call and set up / change an appointment. Again, just an eternity on hold and no real person. This is serious. There is literally no way for me to contact or talk to anyone at NPC. Taking matters into my own hands, I've done a self pay CT and the results will be ready for evaluation in a few days. I can't even contact anyone at NPC to let them know I don't need the referral anymore. If you are considering using them, I wish you a better experience.

I like how doctor Leon Perel and his P.A Kevin does their best with limited resources they have. Until we overhaul our medical systems, doctors hands will be tied in more than one way in how they care for their patients......

Dr Thorn, like the others said he would never prescribe the only medicine that helped. No matter what, no pain meds that actually work. Sent out for tests and referred for different "treatments" that I have followed. It's a scam. Pain clinics must be very profitable. They are planning to eliminate most pain meds no matter your condition.
