“I visited this neurology office throughout 2023 after I started having seizures in late 2022. Dr. Dave was never an empathetic ear for me during my visits with him and he would rarely talk to me for even 5 minutes during my appointments, consistently interrupting me throughout. During my 2nd visit last April, he requested that a nurse draw my blood. This nurse, and the entirety of his nursing and admin staff, was very kind and made me feel heard during all of my visits. However, after drawing my blood, she requested that I hold the first vial of my blood while she filled a 2nd vial. Being squeamish around blood, holding the hot vial made me incredibly woozy and nauseous. I told the nurse this and she said I looked pale so she ran to get me some water. While she was gone, I vomited in the sink. The nurse came back and was very empathetic. However, she was shooed out by Dr. Dave and he took this as an opportunity to scold me for being so anxious. I apologized before he said anything, then Dr. Dave said, "You cannot go through life with this level of stress and anxiety. If you continue like this, you WILL feel like you are 55 years old when you turn 40. You cannot keep going like this," before quickly leaving the room. To me, this was a disproportionate reaction to what happened, and in that moment, I needed his help and empathy which he provided me with neither. I saw Dr. Dave once more before switching to another provider at this same office, just to explain to him the effect his words had on me as they were swimming around my head for weeks. When I confronted Dr. Dave a month or two later, he dismissed my words and DID NOT apologize in any way, shape, or form. This was appalling behavior to me as I was in tears talking to him about how this made me feel. His main response was that I "didn't understand what he meant by that." The provider I saw after Dr. Dave wasn't much better and I was very unhappy with the care provided to me from this office until my last visit in late 2023. I moved back to Western North Carolina in 2024 and the care that I've received here is night and day compared to this office. As I said, the admin and nursing staff here (especially Crystal, she is the hero of that office) were always empathetic and willing to help in any way they could. However, I was more than disappointed with the doctors in this office and how little they seem to care about some patients.”

“If I could give this place a -0 rating I would my experiences with this place has been horrific no compassion whatsoever I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Total waste of my time energy and money and for what absolutely Nothing! These folks have no care in the world about me as a patient and having a background in healthcare I have never and would have never worked in this field if my heart wasn't in it and for some if not most of the staff here they need to go work somewhere they can play in the field like a park and pray one day they're never in need of any kind of care because God don't like ugly and ugly is all you'll receive going to this place.”

“My experience with them was extremely disappointing. Right from the start, they were unwelcoming and treated me rudely, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwanted. Adding to the frustration, they never picked up their phone when I tried to reach out. It was impossible to get any updates on my reports or even have a simple conversation with them. They made false promises of calling me back the next day but never followed through. The level of customer service was shockingly poor, making it one of the worst experiences I've had.”

“Wow this clinic is really professional Alan the PA is really informative and attentive to your needs she even requested blood work to check my kidneys and liver, which is something doctors should do when your on long term meds. Also my experience with Crystal who runs the office was great as well wonderful person, Both had great bed side manner. which is important when your not feeling well.”
