“I've struggled bladder and pelvic floor pain since 2015... I've had pain doctors give me crazy amounts of pain medication to make me drown out the pain. I eventually seemed to simmer it down with only Marijuana, but who can be high like that 24/7. I can't! And of course I developed a tolerance. The pain came back with a vengeance. I had to quiet working. I was put on disability.. Then3 years ago I met Dr. Flaxmen and her team...I immediately told them about my problems with pain medication in the past. She started me on injection first to help my bladder...then something weird started happening and I began have severe pain upon sitting or standing up. I had broken my tail bone in a wreck and it was detiorating. I had horrible neuropathy stabs into my tail bone that then became stirring...she decided to see if she could help...the numbing and injection helped so much! But still there were days I needed a little more so I was given oxycodone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone, coming back to her and saying " hey I still need help. This pain pill does nothing...neither does this, or this, or this" instead of kicking me out on pain management because of opiate tolerance, she gave me answers and a suggestion of helping relieve the pain when the injections weren't enough. I'm so blessed to have her treat me like a human instead of some addiction and diseased ridden piece of trash. Oh and Megan the medical assisstant has gone above and beyond for me when she doesn't have to. Some one should give her a huge raise!”
