National Spine & Pain Centers (NSPC) is one of the nation's largest pain management practices in the United States. Formed in 2011 with a re-brand of The Spine Center - NSPC quickly expanded, partnering with Capitol Spine & Pain in 2012. We strive to bring high quality providers in the specialty of pain management together to offer an extensive network to meet the needs of an ever growing population of patients living in chronic pain. In late 2012 our affiliations grew with the addition of New York Pain Physicians (now New York Spine & Pain Physicians), bringing our number of centers to over 60 with close to 100 providers in D.C., Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, New York, Virginia and West Virginia.

What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“The location, parking and ease of entry into the building is good. The building interior is well maintained. I have always been waited on in a timely manner by front office staff who were polite. I appreciate short wait times and being included in plan of care. Overall, very satisfied with the practice.”
— Joyce Landry
“I have been back to see Dr. Kendall for six injections (two different areas) and have an appointment for another one. He is extremely skilled at what he does!”
— Alida Lewin
“More ghosting than a bad Tinder date. I'm not sure what's going on with the phone system, front office scheduling, or voicemail management, but this office seems unwilling or unable to answer calls or return messages. It's a basic business issue with an easy fix, and I'm honestly surprised they haven't lost their charter given this level of disorganization.”
— Joanna C
“I have been a patient of Dr Kendall's for approximately 20 years. I will never see another doctor, he's wonderful. If you have to "call" this office, you're probably going to be disappointed. After about 9:30am no one answers the phone! If you're lucky you will get sent to voicemail but that doesn't guarantee a call back! For three days I have been trying to call and get my portal fixed (again-you really need to get a better one) because I keep getting the message " Your account is locked. Please contact the practice's office to unlock your account and reset the password." I was asked to send a message to let them know how a new medication is working. Well, that ts just not happening the one time I did get someone to answer I was told to hang on so she could find out how to "do that" , I was disconnected! What are we supposed to do? Every time I have a question or need an appointment drive the 25 minutes to ask in person? After all these years with Dr Kendall it has Never been this bad. Please train, hire willing staff or something; we are all paying customers, in pain, don't make it so hard on us. The technology is out there, get it! You also really need to change your hold music, it makes waiting nerve wracking!”
