What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“Dr Cherrick is the best Doctor and so knowledgeable and informative. He is so patient and really listens to & observes the patient. He is very outgoing and friendly & extremely caring. I'm a RN and highly recommend this practice. The staff is so attentive to patient needs and also very caring. Let me say a special thank you to Darcy (office staff)and her most assertive care. She is a great asset to this office.”

“Can i give a 0! I usually don't leave reviews, but after what I experienced here, I feel obligated to warn others. This wasn't just a scheduling mishap or communication issue--it was a complete failure of medical responsibility. I was cut off from care without written discharge instructions, left scrambling for medication, and pushed into a pain crisis that required emergency treatment. To make matters worse, the prescription I finally received only covered 10 days with no refills--after being told to find a new provider. How is that ethical? The only time I felt respected was when I visited the Tysons satellite office. They were professional and actually listened. The main location? Cold, dismissive, and careless. And here's the part that really bothers me: I've seen multiple reviews with the same copy-paste response from this practice. "We respect your privacy, call us directly..." But nothing ever gets resolved. If they cared about patient outcomes, they'd fix the pattern--not just the optics. I'm sharing my story so others don't get blindsided the way I did. Your health is not safe in the hands of a system that treats compassion like a PR strategy.”

“After repeated delays and poor communication around my prescribed medication, I called the office already under extreme stress. I clearly stated that I was experiencing serious emotional including 'dark thoughts'--but instead of addressing that, staff focused on my tone and language. Yes, I lost my temper--but ask yourself: what kind of care facility hears someone say they're at a breaking point and responds with, "If you can't calm down, find another provider"? I didn't get compassion. I got condescension. If you're already carrying a heavy load--don't expect this place to help lighten it. They're more concerned about being spoken to "politely" than delivering life-saving care! Updated Public Response (Google Review Follow-up): Thank you for responding to my review. I understand HIPAA restrictions, which is why I didn't share personal medical details here. What I will say is that the situation involved more than a scheduling issue or minor oversight--it was a complete disruption in care, delayed access to critical medication, and a lack of proper discharge support during an urgent medical episode. I also want to recognize the Tysons satellite office for their professionalism and empathy--they listened, acted quickly, and showed basic human decency. That experience only made the treatment at the primary location feel more dismissive and disconnected. That said, it's hard to overlook the fact that your response here is identical to others I've seen on negative reviews--a generic invitation to "contact us privately" that rarely leads to meaningful change. I've already initiated formal escalation and have documented everything. If your goal is to improve patient outcomes, it starts with treating feedback like this as more than a public relations box to check. You're playing games with my life!!”

“Avoid National Pain and Spine Alexandria, VA. Dr. Cherrick is amazing too bad the office is not! My experience here was deeply concerning and compromised my well-being. There was a shocking lack of discharge instructions, leaving me without critical guidance for post-procedure care. This directly reflects a severe violation of duty of care. Furthermore, it appears office managers are releasing patients without explicit doctor's authority. This resulted in me suffering significant side effects because the office failed to refill necessary medication. This is not just poor service; it's a dangerous lapse in medical oversight. This public review DOES NOT violate HIPAA regulations, as it shares my personal experience with the clinic's administrative and care practices, not my private health information. Patients deserve to be aware of these serious issues.”
