“I am a chronic pain patient for 24 years. I've been given different pain treatments over the years. Of which only two have been truly successful. I've had injections in my knees, worked wonderfully! I've had them in my back along with epidurals and they didn't work at all. Maybe it's the type of pain being treated, I don't know. But I've been left with treatment with pain medications all of these years. Recently I relocated here from Oklahoma and just to mention pain medicine, you are treated as and looked at like a freak! All they use here, ultimately are injections. Once again, they helped my knees. And that's fine. And I'm more than willing to have injections in my back to see if they'll work. No harm in trying. The only problem is they won't treat my back and knees at the same time. And offer no other treatment for what isn't being treated. I'm left to suffer in pain. And the reasoning behind this is, "Its just their rule". That isn't an explanation to me. I would like a scientific reason as to why all of my pain can't be treated at once. Does anyone know the logic behind this ruling? I'd love to know.”

“It took a while to develop a good Dr./Patient relationship with Dr. Lee but we finally managed to get there. I truly believe he cares about people and has compassion and listens. He will try a wide variety of therapies to help you. The office staff is very friendly and helpful and I usually do not have to wait longer than 10 to 15 minutes.”

“Although Dr. Lee is a pleasant guy, this does not seem to speak to his shortcomings as a pain management doctor. His standard approach is never to start any prescription therapy until a second (or third or fourth or fifth) visit -- and even then, he opts for the most basic doses of aspirin or acetaminophen. During my brief time as Dr. Lee's patient, I witnessed new patients struggling to overcome serious agony from car accidents, crippling myalgia, and gruesome work injuries...and he was recommending heating pads and an extra Aleve. I mean, what? Did this guy go to art school for his pain management degree? In rare cases, when Dr. Lee reluctantly agrees to prescribe any advanced pain relief, it's often a cutaneous "patch" that has a 60/40 effectiveness but is rarely (if ever) covered by insurance. After 6-8 months of visits, I began to express my concerns to Dr. Lee that his approaches (which had included suggestions of warm baths, exercise, and Tylenol) were really not working. This didn't seem to concern him whatsoever -- and for me, that became a big disappointment. If your doctor doesn't care about how you feel or the improvement of your well-being, then just go somewhere else. You're better off asking your dog for pain relief...at least your dog will probably listen and care.”
