“Horrible experience! I was forced by Dr Patel to have injections. I will not slander him. He was with Pain and Spine Specialist in Mt Airy. He provided a deposition while I served Jury Duty. His "standard of care" is directly related to a malpractice suit that had been settled years ago for $30,000. PASS has responded, saying mid-level providers are at fault. NOT possible!! He is currently licensed in MD and PA. He has been reported to the Maryland Board of Physicians (QA) at least once by my husband. The director/physician at National Spine and Pain Centers was kind enough to say that he couldn't treat me because of a conflict of interest - I applaud him for that! I felt this practice is very safe. The staff could not have been kinder.”

“I truly liked Dr Patel. He was patient and explained medical issues clearly. My plan was to get a back procedure, but he uses an answering service that is not well trained. I left 2 messages with the person responsible for handling insurance and never got a return call. I tried to schedule an appointment and was on hold for about 12 minutes before I lost my patience. I then called to schedule the procedure and the service said they would email the scheduling department to call me - no call. I was then scheduled for the procedure late afternoon. The next day I received a call saying that the procedure is only scheduled for early morning. I don't answer the phone as I get many scam calls. If you leave a message, I'll call you back. Horrible service that I can do without.”

“If you want to be seen by someone who truly cares about your situation. Than this doctor as well as the staff is not for you. If you're lucky, you might get to see Dr. Patel at your first visit, after that the NP ( nurse practitioner) One of the most insensitive, rude, and non compassionate person you will ever meet. Goes by the name of Liz! I feel responsible because I referred them to my friend who had been slowly depleting with there health issue after a car accident years prior. Do to the level of pain and loss of movement, he was needed to find a course of action to help him improve his quality of life. Long story short, all there interested in is taking your Money and not finding out how they can help you! My advice is, take the time to find a doctor who is involved with his patients, someone who'd had a good experience with the doctor as opposed to finding them online. One with, true compassion in his or hers line of work. Able to take the time out to hear your situation. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone ever again, absolutely the worst!!”
