What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“If you have to visit a pain specialist then this is the office to visit. Michael and Vanessa happily welcome you and help you through the check in process. They are knowledgeable, patient and caring. Keke the medical assistant was professional, caring and wonderful as well double checking every medicine and surgery I've had as well as my vitals. Dr Scott Sherman was a breath of fresh air after seeing many doctors that don't give you straight answers or options other then more drugs. He was professional, understanding and sought to find answers to my back issues. I'm excited to visit Dr Sherman's office again in the future because he cares.”

“I have called THREE times to get an appointment. In all fairness, they had called me once to schedule but my neurosurgeon said to wait until I really felt I needed an epidural so I told them I would wait. So, I called back a couple of weeks ago and left a message- nothing. I spoke with someone at an alternate extension yesterday after no call back. He transferred me and to look out for there call back. That was more than 24hours ago. I am meeting with my PCP today (they call patients right back) to discuss where else I can go. If this is the carelessness with new patient appointments, this is a bad red flag.”

“I was a patient for 4 months than yesterday I was discharged and wouldn't refill my meds until the 22nd, which means I would go 9 days without medicineven. Though it wasn't word-for-word, he basically accused me of popping my pills and taking more than what I was prescribed, he would not listen to me, telling him that when I first started the prescription, it lasted 6 to 8 hours. As of yesterday, it's only lasting 4 hoyes. Yes, if I had a real bad day and I was an extreme pain in Cheers. I would take one extra pill to help me. And that was not everyday it was only every so often. They have my medical records. I told him what medicine helps me. I've been dealing with this pain for 16 years. So I think I know my body better than he does only see me for 4 months. Sometimes you have to see a Doctor for years before they get to know all your habits completely. And before you can have a real bond with that Doctor where you would trust them with your wife. He's not a bad guy, but he's very stubborn and set in his ways. I did try Delta 8, which is cbd with the in it you can buy it in a bake shop.Or smoke shop, you don't need a medical marijuana card or to see a medical marijuana Doctor you don't need a prescription, it's totally legal. You can get it in flower's gummy's vape it did work a little bit.I think I just need a little bit stronger. What I don't understand is why would you get someone else's medical records if you're not gonna go by them? Lowe's medical records came from a doctor in Jacksonville. Florida, who I saw for over 4 years. Who would give you what you requested? As long as it was a reasonable request. The only reason I didn't see him anymore because I moved to Orlando. The rest of the staff are awesome. Vanessa and Scott are great. The medical assistance are good too. But Doctor Sherman himself. Really needs to change his ways and consider listening to what the patient is saying and that be so stubborn and close-minded. And just doing things his was asking for where's to go back on my oxycodone 3 times a day and I wasn't asking for anything else but just that? Because that helps me it's helped me.4 over 4 years and my body never got a new to it kept workinow.I'm probably gonna have withdrawals because i'm gonna be without medicine for 9 days and honestly, the pharmacist said, if I'm gonna be without it for 9 days. And I will not refill it because I'll be out of my system by then”

“Dr. Sherman is a great physician. Hands down. He has a VERY difficult job and has people that try to take advantage of him sometimes which can lead to bad reviews so be weary when you read negative ones. I have been a patient for almost two years and am very happy with how I've been treated and my plan of care. Dr Sherman has a strong personality which in my opinion is a good thing. He is straight to the point and will guide you to make the best decision for what you need in a safe manner. Raul his Physicians Assistant is also fantastic. I have seen him a number of times and he is always willing to listen and is beyond knowledgeable. The ARNP is equally fantastic as well. And as far as the Office staff I have to say they are super friendly, caring and always willing to work with you with your best intentions in mind. 5 Stars for sure!”
