“Sometimes being a good listener is one of the most important attributes an employee can have. Last month I met with Anesia Carter, NP at the National Pain Institute in Lady Lake, FL to discuss the ongoing neuropathy in my right leg. Upon arriving for my monthly appointment, she asked "How are you doing?" . . . at which time I asked her if we could do a "one-off" discussion as a result of my recent brachytherapy that had left me averaging 2-3 hours of sleep nightly for the prior month -- and severe cramps below the waist (which I had been addressing with various magnesium supplements). Anesia listened and recommended that I take a muscle relaxer (which she prescribed), followed by magnesium glycinate. That evening I began a nightly 7-8 hour sleep which has continued for over the past three weeks. Simply said: Anesia cared, listened and used her advanced knowledge to provide good medical direction. It was so much appreciated and I felt that amidst the often negative feedback expressed by residents in The Villages about our medical community, this is a great success story. Thank you, Anesia.”

“Thank you to the office manager of this location and my Dr.Deluca. He doesn't fake nice and I got that message but I also see he is kind and has a heart. As much as that might be a burden sometimes I want him to know from the bottom of my heart the transition was so difficult and humiliating but I thank him so much for giving me advance care from the lack of care I came from. Humiliating and unnecessary pain I went through. Bottom line, I am just grateful to finally get a real doctor that qualifies since the last one a few months ago. Just as grateful for the difference in spirit and attitude of the office staff as well.
