“I actually hate to leave this review because I like the physicians but I will not be returning due to mismanagement of my case on the part of the "nurses" and office staff. I have only been a patient since August and since then have had two separate situations happen where "nurses" and office staff are not forwarding messages to the physicians but instead are sending generic "make an apt" responses when follow ups are not actually needed. I was actually told per Brandy I didn't need a follow up that she would chat with me about results and next steps through the portal. Well my CT was on 4/26 and I still haven't heard from anyone. I emailed on 5/1 and again on 5/3 to get the same reply each time, "make an apt." It took 10 days to get a reply after my last text through the portal. In the fall the nurse instructed me to "continue medication" when I was wanting an apt for labs to be rechecked after concerning symptoms. It took 3 months and 3 phone calls to get labs scheduled because "they don't draw thyroid labs any sooner than every 3 months." In January when labs came back elevated for me, I called again and was told the exact same thing "continue medication your labs are normal." I finally followed up with a specialist who agreed I was not being managed properly and with the medication changes I knew I needed I am feeling much better. As much as I like the physicians at the bedside, I can't go to a practice that has untrained "nurses" on staff giving bad medical advice to patients and that can not be bothered to even speak to the physician on the patients behalf. It should never take weeks to get a reply from your physicians office. I am a registered nurse and know first hand this is not how communication should be handled between patients and their physicians. So disappointing.......”
