“I have been struggling with chronic pain for most of my life but when I was in my 40s pain seemed to escalate very fast. After getting 3 cervical vertebrae fused earlier this year I decided it was time to find a specialist to help me manage my pain. I tried another provider in Thornton first but when she kept canceling my appointment I decided to find someone else. I found Mountain View Pain Management in the Northfield area and now I see Kelsey regularly. When I come in she takes the time to hear how things are going from my perspective and I feel comfortable telling her everything about my ongoing pain problems. At my first appointment I shared that my bio parents were drug addicts and I wanted to do all I could to break this pattern So I tried quite a few different pain meds and a lot of them I had never heard of. Well now I'm at the crossroads of deciding how to handle stuff because none of the meds were helping. So now we've come up with a plan to go on the lowest dose possible of a strong pain pills and we will be checking in frequently to make sure that everything is going ok.
