“Poor & Inconsiderate Customer Service- Made an appointment due to lower back pain on monday at 8am-I gave my insurance information on initial call, Booked for wed early am., Then asked to fill out more online forms and did this promptly monday am with more information and insurance information. Late Tuesday at 4:45 pm received a call and was told they don't take my insurance, visit will cost $250 new patient fee and $150 = $400, but I have $1600 in unused funds in my insurance plan. Be careful with this Doctor, who does not review your insurance plan and promptly communicate before booking an appointment. I am now still in pain and spending more time to find another Doctor for a consultation.”

“I have been seeing Dr Kahanna since early April. I came into her basically hunched over like a troll unable to stand or walk basically. I was advised by Rothman and other dr's offices that you have to be basically in pain for a specific period of time in order for your insurance to cover the costs of advanced care before they can treat you with injections. You need to be in PT and be seen for a period of at least 6 months and also have been told that PT is not working for you, etc. first. I was in the worst pain of my life. I am also one that doesn't like to even take Tylenol. I couldn't stand, barely walk, I couldn't do anything at home at all. I would stand and have to sit right back down but yet, I wasn't at the point where other dr's would interject and go to injections as again its not the process for insurance. I went to the ER and was advised I did have DDD after a MRI and scans were completed. I was given 4 days of Steroids which basically didn't help at all. However; from there I also had other issues with my joints (possibly from overcompensating not being able to use my legs and back properly, that I don't know). Dr Kahanna was able to schedule me immediately and help diagnose my issues. My care was second to none. Dr. Khanna was immediately attentive to what was a severely painful situation. She was able to schedule an immediate appointment unlike the other drs which was unable to respond in any timely manner, and she provided comprehensive consultation and treatment in a brand-new office that is state of the art and peaceful, welcoming. beautiful. In addition, her staff is equally compassion and trust me I had allot of questions! Also, something that was very helpful is that if she is out of network with your insurance provider her fees are extremely reasonable especially given the extent of care given. I would say don't waste as much time as I did. Just by-pass the hospital systems and other offices and seek out Dr. Khanna where here specialty is warranted. You don't have to stay in pain. She not only helped me with nerve blocks and a FRA Ablation, Trigger injections and SI joint injections she provided me with a clear path to continued recovery with my PT. By the way, she treats a variety of other issues like, hip, shoulder, tendinitis, bursitis and more... 5 Stars, A+, 10/10!”
