“Google Review for Modern Pain & Spine My dad has been a patient at Modern Pain & Spine and was scheduled to see Dr. Bitu. He saw her once in the office -- she was somewhat kind and did help create an initial plan, but her bedside manner wasn't the strongest. Since then, he's had two injections. Both provided a little relief, but he's still experiencing significant pain. The biggest concern has been the follow-up care. He was scheduled for two telehealth appointments in the weeks after his procedures, and not once has Dr. Bitu called on time. Both times, we ended up having to call the office to let them know she'd missed his appointment entirely. Today's telehealth was especially disappointing -- it took nearly three hours for her to return the call, and that was only after I called repeatedly and begged to speak with a manager. It's incredibly frustrating that a patient's time isn't treated with the same respect just because the visit is virtual. These appointments were scheduled weeks ahead, and there's simply no excuse for the consistent lack of timeliness or communication. When she finally did call, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay, and the plan moving forward felt dismissive and not very helpful. In contrast, Dr. Manoli has been exceptional. He treats my dad with genuine compassion, takes the time to speak with him at his level, and truly listens. He is everything you hope for in a provider, and I sincerely wish my dad could see him every time. If you're looking for a provider with strong bedside manner who truly engages in a thoughtful plan of care, I would not recommend scheduling with Dr. Bitu.”

“I can't understand why modern pain and spine give out tramadol to their patients knowing damn good and well it is not meant for chronic pain. Did they not know what they're doing there? They were even blatantly negligent about referring another drug to her that was specifically in her paperwork, noting that it had given her a severe reaction. They don't even read their patients records. This shows negligence on a high order. I'm starting to believe that all they really care about is patient turnover then padding their company with insurance forms. I took my wife there and I took great offense to the tall orderly with the bald head that touched her on the shoulder. I saw she was uncomfortable and I made sure that he knew I was uncomfortable about it. That is not professional behavior. I was a safety specialist with a JTA and I know when a patient is uncomfortable and an employee has crossed the line. The front desk was disorganized. None of this impressed me at all.”
