“Dr Atallah is very thorough, knowledgeable, skilled, kind and caring. He spends plenty of time with you and answers any questions explaining well. Definitely wants to relieve your pain! He will do what's necessary to relieve pain too! You are included in decisions and choices as to what has worked for you and what's best medically for you. He looks at all surgeries and injuries causing ongoing pain. I loved when I asked about the nerve pain I have due to surgeries, chemo, neuropathy and such. He told me I've had a lot of nerves affected with the many surgeries, injuries and chemo I've had then said - but we can make it better. Increased nerve pain I've been taking for several years. Took care of the intense pain with an injection on Christmas Eve that got me through two back to back services that were my responsibility in the things I needed to do. Could not have endured without the injections for pain. Thankful beyond words for that. Then had another minor surgical procedure December 31st on lumbar spine after he'd asked which was worse lumbar or cervical spine pain. Lumbar first then and deal with cervical spine after that. The lumbar minor surgery December 31 made the 11 day cruise he knew I was taking in January much much better with more pain relief than it definitely would have been. He is dedicated to helping and I cannot say enough about his caring and understanding people who have severe pain. His staff is excellent as well. Professional and caring. Dr. Atallah reviewed my MRI from LA as well as my records, we spoke, and he created a focused treatment plan. 3 months later, I am still going strong with a 80-95% reduction in overall pain. Yes, the next day after doing yard work sucks but medication gets me through easily and I am back to my new normal in a day or two.
