“I was told by my primary doctor that I should ask my dentist about TMJ. She referred me to Dr. Herman for an evaluation. The intake person at the clinic was very thorough in understanding why I was there and what my symptoms were. After all, I had no pain and was at a pain clinic! Dr. Herman then did a thorough examination and found the source of the clicking sound I had, educated me on TMJ, examined me by having me move my jaw and open my mouth, had me put in my retainer and evaluated my bite with it in, and explained why I do not have TMJ. The top medical practitioners all seem to know each other. Our children's orthodontist had referred me to a prosthodontist to do an implant for our son who had a missing tooth, and she referred me to the dentist who referred me to Dr. Herman at this clinic. Dr. Herman now has referred me to an ENT to address my primary doctor's diagnosis of Eustachian tube dysfunction. Because of his speciality with TMJ, Dr. Herman works with ENTs. Because he knew our children's orthodontist and prosthodontist as well as the dentist, I am confident he has referred me to one of the very best ENTs in the Twin Cities. “If you want to feel like a really low priority, use this clinic! All their procedures, orders, appointments take a very long time, so you're for sure out several months on receiving any real treatment. Also, it is impossible to talk to a human being when you call their "reception desk"! You can not hold for a receptionist and they are constantly on the phone so you will be sent to their voicemail. Eventually your call will be returned several days after you made it, so don't count on any help for anything urgent and if you complain, they will blame you for not following up sooner. I have contacted the Plymouth office, they offered no assistance! They told me to leave a message and they'll get back to me...precisely the problem!!!”
