Patient Testimonials

These people are amazing the yoga during and after the 10 week class is amazing also the classes offered afterwards are great. They understand that people have pain and it's not going to go away but there are different ways to manage it and cope with it instead of being a druggie. I have chronic and painful kidney disease and the nurse Rick is awesome worked with me and recommended some treatment plans to my family doctor that my doctor is respecting and working with me on.

The entire staff is awesome! Thank you, Melissa, for my introduction to yoga and thank you, Erica, for showing me the various ways to manage my pain, think about it differently, and live a fuller life. Mid-Valley Pain Clinic complemented all my other treatments to the point that I am no longer living in the chronic pain that I was experiencing for the last few years. I thank you so much!

If I could give them negative stars I would. There "therapy" is a joke the Dr.s there don't really know what they are talking about and are a bunch of frauds. I just got a call from my PCP that they just got a call from Dr Steven Tackett Nelson and that he is wanting to change my medication because I'm severely depressed and that I'm going to hurt myself or someone else. I have never spoken to or seen this doctor but it turns out that he is one of the psychiatrists that works at Midvalley pain. So in short do not go here they are a joke and I would not recommend seeing this doctor out side of this practice either because you never know what he will do. And I'm going to be filing a complaint with the State of Oregon Medical Board for both Midvalley Pain and especially for "Dr. Steven Tackett Nelson"

This place is metaphysical hell. The 'orientation' that takes 2 hours involves a powerpoint presentation that illustrates the opinion that 3-6 months after an injury it should be completely healed and therefore any pain associated is all mental. There are NO MEDICAL DOCTORS that work in or with this office, nor can this office reccomend, authorize or perform any medical procedures. They provide a one size fits most approach encompassed in a 10 week GROUP THERAPY clinic where you do yoga, cuddle with service dogs and attend cognitive therapy (counseling). The only thing this place lacks was some asshat 'shaman' burning sage, waving about their magic vibrating crystal wand and preaching the gospel of magnetic bracelets.
