Patient Testimonials
“I was informed that the doctors here do not practice " pain management " and you need to see your pcp. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE”
— Angie Smith
“I've had Dr Geeid & Dr Hess & I've had injections few times I have severe neuropathy & occupital pain for several years & it's horrific living like this the facet injections don't do nothing just numbing the pain never goes away. I myself do so much research on my conditions & told Hess they should do nerve ablation not just numb. There's doctor's that cut & burn the nerves for a better outcome to help me & so many people out there. And they said they don't & couldn't do these procedures & my family doctor was not pleased. I've already been referred to Columbia for a urology & when i told them in Columbia I want a pain specialist to help me cause they said they do these everyday & couldn't believe Springfield won't do my doctor is referring me me to Columbia becausey nerves have to be cut & burned. It's a drive but we'll worth it cause my symptoms are numbness, burning, tingling, itching, burning mouth also I'm not giving up till I need this resolved. This is not a joke living like this so if you want someone to understand & help cause this pain is real it's our body it's not in are heads. I'm tired of not being taken seriously & you should to trust me find help.”

“Mercy Pain Management is a Joke! I took testing in the beginning, the pain psychologist I saw did say the tests pointed to the fact that my pain is physical pain, though I have some depression & anxiety as well. He sent me to a pain doctor I didn't want to see, because he gave me injections in my neck & shoulders years ago that made them worse, and all he told me was I should go to five group therapy sessions. I went to the sessions, they were useless - after dealing with pain for years, I already knew all this stuff, and all the "tips" given. I was told in the beginning that I might do well with the Alpha-Stim but was required to go to FIVE group therapy sessions, then have follow up. There was a chance the Alpha-Stim would be offered during the sessions but that never happened. They called up today about the follow up and the earliest they could get me in was November. I'm deeply unhappy with this process and the level of "care" I've received. I get a ton more help from my GP and should have just continued to work with him.”

“DR. GIEDD. WORST. DOCTOR. EVER. No bedside manner. You won't even see her after the first consult. She does crazy-painful, crazy-expensive procedures that DONT WORK! I was in incredible pain after the procedure, couldn't drive my car, couldn't work. It took them 3 days to return my call, and she prescribed me NOTHING for pain, treated me like a drug addict, telling me I had to come back in --2 1/2 hour drive - before she could help me with the pain. She doesn't visit with you before or after the procedure. She never explains what she's doing. The nurses are horribly rude. The worst part is that I hurt much worse now than I did when I first went to see her. She never mentioned she could make me worse with the procedure. FIND SOMEONE ELSE!”
