Patient Testimonials

I was seriously injured by one of the Drs visiting this office for a nerve conduction study. Even when I told the man immediately during the test that something was wrong and I think it was causing a problem, I was promptly told that I " quite frankly, had no idea what I was talking about." It turns out that I did know what I was talking about, and one year later I am still having horrible, horrible, horrible pain and lasting effects from this damage. When I called the office and told them what had happened and asked to see the doctor to fix the problem that he caused, I was told that if I wanted to see him, that I would have to PAY to see him. PAY! Even if it's from an injury that he had just inflicted upon me himself! Also, at the end of the day, they charge you about three times the price of any other place. Now that Dr. Kuppinger is no longer with them, I highly suggest all people stay away from this place.

My first visit at Medicus was about two weeks after I was hit on my motorcycle. I met with a nurse practitioner and they asked a bunch of questions. While there I specifically asked her not to touch my left leg as it was in a lot of pain. She proceeded to grab onto it, sending me through the roof! Some basic reflex "can you feel this" tests were done, and I was sent on my way with a prescription for a nighttime muscle relaxer. A follow up was scheduled for three weeks later. I returned for my follow up, and went through the same gamut of questions. She prescribed a refill for the muscle relaxer, and was supposed to be scheduling me for multiple MRI's, a TBI test, and more. Over a week later I had not heard back a single word. At that time, I asked my attorney to see if we could work with someone else. After my first consultation with the new provider was complete, and my first and second MRI's were on the books for the SAME week, I called Medicus to cancel my next appointment which was just to be another follow up, with no "action" being taken. They asked why, and when I brought up the lack of scheduling for anything, the answer was that they'd put in a request but hadn't heard back. Sorry, that's just not good enough for me. I don't like to spin my wheels - I need action. And over six weeks after being hit on my motorcycle, to have NO action - that's unacceptable.

I had to have a nerve ablation done for neck, and shoulder pain. For a few weeks the pain was substantial. Then was GONE entirely. I literally woke up one morning feeling great, after months of constant pain, and mobility issues.
