MD Pain - Pain Management in Englewood, Colorado

“This clinic, and all of their staff from the front line office staff who check you in for your appointment, to the schedulers, and the medical techs, the P.As, and Dr.s , are all very professional, and also seem to actually care about the needs of their patients. I have been going to the MD pain office in Engelwood for just under a year and after they have opened their Colorado Springs office, I now am being seen there as I am closer to that clinic, but with regard to both locations I actually feel like I now have the tools to finally get this pain from degenerative disc disease from gymnastics under control and easier to deal with after over 20 years of pain management at a different clinic. I felt I had to add to their multitude of awesome reviews today, especially , because I called to see if there was a possibility of getting scheduled for an injection before the end of the year after meeting my deductable, and even though they are extremely busy this time of year, I received a call back after only have leaving a message an hour prior( most clinics are 48 hrs) to tell me they have received my message and are waiting to hear back from the insurance company and to let me know they recv'd my message. There have been many times I have felt the need to leave a review but never have the time, but today I made the time. I would recommend this clinic to anybody out there who wants a possitive outcome and multi level pain management approach, that provides a clean, stable, knowlegable , safe, and professional pain management. I have to say not every clinic is perfect but reading the very few the less than perfect reviews here should be taken with a grain of salt because we have to take into consideration that people in pain (personally speaking here) are hard to deal with and desperate to keep their pain levels down or at bay, might be more critical. But reviews coming from patients who were late for appointments who had to reschedule or medication problems, or dismissed for whatever reason, in my opinion and experience with MD pain, it is more to do with the patient, than the staff or this establishment. They run a tight ship. They are organized. Be ontime for your appts. ( 20 minutes early) Follow your Dr.s advice and procedures, take your prescription as advised. Have good communication (because they do here) and if all of these boxes check off for you, I promise, you will do fine here and actually get the pain management you deserve, because life is no fun for those of us in pain. Sometimes a person would do anything to make it go away for even just a minute, but on those desperate high pain level days try to remember, we are all human here. A little patients and civility goes a long way, and like I mentioned, I would take poor reviews with a grain of salt on ANY platform, I guess but especially here because speaking from experience, (I can be that wing-nut, unorganized, running late, problem patient with horrible ADD) I have covered every scenario possible with this clinic in yhe time I have gone here, and the only time I had any issue was the time when **I** was the cause of the issue. Love both locations, but the Springs location being smaller and more convenient for me is where I will make my appts from here on. ( I hope) Dr Bernardini is brilliant , Charmin, and now I see Meghan but from what I have heard about the others, is that they're all awesome Good luck to you all on your pain journey and I hope you find some relief out there no matter who you choose to help you.”

“My experience with the doctor was fine, but the office policy makes it impossible to get adequate care. You cannot have any interaction or communication with the doctor except through in-office visits, which are not available until weeks and months later. I was hoping to have a time-sensitive conversation about whether scheduling a procedure made sense for me, but due to office policy, I was told I needed to make an appointment with the doctor to see if I needed to make an appointment with the doctor. And that appointment was a month away. So overall, not a practice that offers care in a way that is helpful to its patients or offers any kind of communication with your care team.”

“This place is shady. They will lie to you & write prescriptions that do not accurately show correct dose. The PA cut my starter dose by 300% lol. Anything to make it look like a lower dose to reflect better on them. I want mine to be accurate - it's the law”

“I was having great results with Dr. Bernadini. Unfortunately, during my last appointment for my lower back ablation I woke up with blood all over me and the nurse is telling me that they weren't able to do it because I stopped breathing. I panicked and was asking the doctors to call me back on Monday when they called to reschedule my appointment and on Tuesday with no callback! I need to know what anesthesia was used that I may have had a reaction to or was given too much because I have upcoming major surgeries going on and can't get a callback! That really turned me off and scared me! Made me feel that my health is not their concern!”
