He has continually resolved my orthopedic needs. He is also a pain specialist so he does a great job keeping the ouch'ies to a minimum.”

“I consistently have an excellent experience with my FNP, Brooke Scupp. She genuinely cares for her patients, and it's heartwarming that she and the staff always inquire about my disabled daughter, who sometimes accompanies me to appointments. I would rate her a solid 10 out of 10. However, I'm giving my overall experience a 4 due to some challenges since their move to the new location. The parking situation is particularly concerning, as there are limited handicapped spots available. Additionally, the reception area now has only one employee, whereas there used to be two. On one occasion, I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment, had to park in the back with my daughter, and found four people ahead of me who hadn't checked in online like I always do. By the time I reached the receptionist, it was 16 minutes past my appointment time, and I was told I had to wait to see if I could still be seen. After waiting 45 minutes to an hour, I was informed that I needed to reschedule. I expressed my frustration since I had been in line ahead of time and requested to speak with either my FNP or the office administrator. To improve, I believe they need two staff members at the reception desk and a sign-in sheet to document arrival times. Although I wasn't charged a missed appointment fee, making a 60-mile trip each way and then having to return two weeks later without my refills was disappointing. I also asked the receptionist to ensure that Brooke would call me, but my message was never relayed. I truly wish they were still in their previous location down the road.”

“The staff is warm and accommodating. Dr. Kangas is a great listener and explained my condition very well. I have been in pain for over 6 months. I'm starting to feel like it's not in vain now that the mystery of my symptoms have been discovered. I'm so grateful for them and the doctor that referred me.”

“Everyone at this facility is very kind and I truly believe they want to help you feel better. When I actually got to see Dr. Kangus, he was great and seems truly concerned about getting to the root of my physical pain. I have not seen him the last two visits and feel like I am not getting as responsible care as I did with him and his nurse. Two months in between visits and you're in pain and all that is ordered is a pain patch called to wrong pharmacy and MRI that never gets scheduled. There were phone calls made regarding these issues The focus during visit in regards to phone calls and mistakes seemed to be on .... not being able to find the " second" time I called. There were statements made about trouble with Desoto Imaging. How about following up? I'm an RN and if orders weren't carried out in a timely manner, heads would roll!! TWO months???? I feel like I am on the bottom looking up at the cracks I fell through. I have always felt like this was a 10/5 star Care Center. Not so much at the present.”
