“I paid $12,500 for a regenerative medicine package at Marin Regenerative Health in September 2025. Dr. Scharf promised me a "90% chance of curing my knee" and "60% chance of curing my shoulder." My shoulder is bone on bone with severe arthritis and large osteophytes. My knee is also bone on bone with severe arthritis. I received stem cell treatment in my knee and shoulder. The stem cell injections were performed by an outside doctor from San Diego with an assistant "in training" who was not accurate with the needle. He inserted the needle into the wrong area of my knee, and the doctor had to correct him and guide him into the correct area during my knee injection. I never received several promised treatments including A2M injections, PRP therapy, and peptides - representing thousands of dollars in unprovided services. The treatments I did receive were inappropriate for my condition. I have bone-on-bone arthritis in my knee, yet Dr. Scharf administered shockwave therapy and compression treatments. On October 22, 2025, one day after one of these treatments, my knee collapsed for the first time. It has continued to collapse, I now walk with a permanent limp. Now I have to have knee replacement surgery and shoulder replacement surgery. When I requested copies of documents I signed (as required by California law), Dr. Scharf never responded. When I met with her to discuss my concerns, she deflected blame to me and tried to sell me more treatments. I have reported this practice to the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners for investigation. I strongly advise anyone considering treatment here to: Get all promises in writing with clear documentation Research whether proposed treatments are appropriate for your specific condition Seek second opinions from board-certified physicians Be wary of practices making cure rate percentage claims without scientific backing This experience cost me over $12,000, left me with lasting harm (the knee will be replaced in 2026), and I am now pursuing legal remedies.”
