“So happy I went to Dr Maya! I have been remodeling my house for the last year and have been having neck pain, but one day I woke up and I was in level 10 pain. Not knowing what to do, I went to the immediate care. Unfortunately, the immediate care did nothing for me but recommend I go see a specialist. My pain level was at a 10 literally laying on the ground shaking. I could not sit, I could not walk ,I could not sleep, I could not lay down without being at a level 10 pain. Not knowing what to do, I went to the emergency room. The emergency room recommended I see a specialist And loaded me up on pain medication and sent me home. I reached out to multiple doctors on island and everybody told me, it would be a minimum of two weeks before they could see me. When I called Malama Pain, Spine and Joint Medicine , they took the time to actually listen to me and even went out of their way to move some of their nonemergency clients around to get me in ASAP. Dr. Maya was able to see me and took the time to really figure out what was going on and find out that I have a pinched nerve . Not only was she able to put me on the right medication to help dissipate the pain and help release the nerve, she also got me in physical therapy to help with my recovery as well. I don't have medical benefits and I just pay out-of-pocket. Their prices are beyond fair and I feel half the price of anybody else on the island. Dr Maya is great!She is professional and most importantly was able to actually figure out what was going on with with me and figure out the proper treatment plan to fix me.”
