Patient Testimonials
“This doctor is a big let down, he told me that everything was fine with my back and chucked it up to arthritis just by Xrays, and did not read nothing on my medical background before even looking at me. While he was doing a test on my back he twisted my right leg and got a old injury started back up with my ACL. On top of this I asked 3 times in that office for my Xrays and refused to give them to me. Not a good place to go. This doctor is a money doctor not someone who cares”

“In my opinion and from my experience Dr. Fouad is a dangerously bad doctor and should be avoided by anyone with serious pain. I have had three discs replaced in my neck, a lumbar spine fusion and countless injections. I have MRIs, nerve conduction studies, CT scans and other objective evidence showing severe damage to my 30 some year-old spine. This man lowered my medication dose to half the level suitable for someone with aches and pains. We're in the middle of an opioid crisis so OK but I could barely speak I was in so much pain and he refused to let me try any different medications of the same equivalency. He refused to give me non-opioid treatments such as steroid injections that had helped for years prior to this and instead with lecture me on how much medication I used to take before my surgeries. He would not let it go and instead of treating me kept admonishing me for my past medication levels from over five years ago! He started to insist it was the medication causing my pain( opioid hyperalgesia) when I have far more objective evidence than most normal patients and I am taking a small fraction of the medicine I used to have to take. Opioid hyperalgesia can be tested for and treated but he was not interested in doing this either. I finally told him all I want are the steroid injections like I had in Florida and he looked at me and said "Then go back to Florida". I would have but I was in no shape to travel and I was ready to be done with life, that is what severe under treated pain will do. He finally said if it's that bad then go to the hospital. I knew there was nothing hospital could do for me but for the first time in over 10 years of dealing with this I went to the hospital. When the hospital called his office they told the hospital I had missed used my medication. They LIED to the hospital to keep them from treating me. If I had missed used my medication he would have kicked me out of his practice. I went to this man in my most vulnerable and desperate time of need. I needed help and instead I was made to feel lower than a piece of dirt as if I did not deserve a life at all and this man was my doctor. Believe it or not there still are good pain doctors out there. Dr. Maged Fouad is not one of them.”
