What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“Went to see him last week and he talked non stop at me and over me when I tried to ask questions or correct his incorrect assumptions. At one point midway through the appointment I asked if I would get a chance to speak and he told me when he was done talking. By the end of the appointment when it was "my turn" I asked him my question and he told me it didn't matter and I was wrong. I did not find the appointment valuable or helpful in anyway.”
— Gloria Pyeatt
“He is very intelligent but a jerk. Runs way behind and has no respect for his patients. He does not listen to you. If I could have given 0 stars I would have. Should have trusted my gut in the beginning.”
— Jennifer Parsons
“Dr. Haber is an amazing physician who spends time talking with his patients to get to the bottom of their pain to provide a personalized treatment plan.”
— Tracy Greig
“I do caregiving for an individual with SCA3, and we had an appointment this morning at 10am with Dr Haber at the Brookside clinic. We were referred to him by my client's primary care doctor for upper back pain that was occuring about a month or so ago. However, that pain subsided almost immediately upon prescription of propranolol for anxiety by my clients primary care at that same time. We expressed today during prescreening for the pain management that the pain is no longer there, that the medication did the trick, and that it was likely a pulled muscle or something. When Dr Haber came in, it didn't seem as though he researched my client's file at all, and the questions posed to us were often irrelevant given my client's medical condition and where he's at with it. When my client would ask a question, it would either be disregarded entirely, or we were unwillingly given unnecessarily long anatomy lessons. Diagrams, models and speeches are good when there's confusion, but my client already stated several times there's no pain, and what stopped it. Dr Haber went over the MRIs and said there wasn't anything serious in them, just a little arthritis which may or may not cause pain down the road. He suggested PT and stretching... My client does stretch, and has already done PT - it is no longer needed or desired given the state of their medical condition. Dr Haber seemed baffled that the pain went away with the propranolol, as if it's impossible that their severe anxiety exacerbated what may have just been a pulled muscle. Overall it felt like there was a huge lack of understanding and inability to listen from Dr Haber. The only real advice given was to potentially adjust/correct posture. My client felt disregarded and that their time had been wasted. I do not plan on returning to Dr Haber for pain management for my client.”
